the most chatty strain I've ever had had about a year ago on the BM and couldn't stop talking to friend while sharing this one. amazing taste on the cut I had too was sweet with mild fruity notes
First time smoking this sweet strain. So relaxing. Feels like Northern Lights but a little less euphoric. Great for evenings on the couch in front of the tv or some reflective time out in nature. Whatever you do, make sure it’s super chill. 10/10 would definitely smoke again. Enjoy!
Cherry Pie is one of my favorite strains for daytime use with significant pain reduction and mental stimulation. Its psychoactive effects are focused, bright, and inspiring, making it a good strain for use while doing chores or a project. The psychoactive effect is clear enough to focus on detailed tasks involving numbers or extensive language interaction, even on a brain-fog burdened day. Depending on the requirements of the position, Cherry Pie may be a helpful choice for those who have to work but still need to medicate throughout the day.
I was introduced to this strain in Michigan more than 5 years ago. Since then, I've tried this strain from multiple growers and dispensaries in Michigan, California, and Arkansas, in flower and concentrate forms. It is consistently a quality product across markets with truly effective medicinal properties. The flavor and terrene profile makes it a grower's top tier choice for processing into concentrates. I prefer flower and personally feel the effects are more helpful when combusting the flower than when ingesting materials processed with alcohol, for example. It would make a great choice for edibles that already have a fruit flavor, or in any edibles for those who may not yet be accustomed to the taste.
Personally, Cherry Pie is a top 5 choice for daytime relief of pain, muscle spasms, limited mobility, mood disruption, PTSD symptoms, and headaches. There is a slight acceleration of heart rate and possible autonomic elevation, so for those treating anxiety or who need to be careful with their adrenaline, it might take some time to acclimate to the effect of this flower as compared to more sedative indicas.
There is an expectorant cycle with this strain. Typically, it is an immediate bronchial irritation and tightness in the lungs as the resin coats the tissues and they momentarily stick together, followed by 2 - 4 bouts of productive cough characterized by strong chest muscle spasm. Despite the discomfort of the strong spastic coughs, this quality means Cherry Pies is potentially effective at clearing out old mucus and other pollutants, eventually contributing to a
cleaner and clearer airway.
I find using this strain in combination with another Cookies or Kush strain is particularly helpful midday or at night, after the pain of the day's activities begins to demand more attention.
In Northwest Arkansas, Good Day Farms recently provided dispensaries with very well grown Cherry Pie.
Cherry Pie is that ideal blend of flavor and function. The moment you crack it open, the sweet, tart aroma hits—like a fresh-baked cherry pie cooling on the windowsill. Smooth and slightly fruity on the inhale, it delivers a calming, balanced high that melts stress without knocking you out completely.
I used the POTV Lobo to dial in the perfect temp, and wow—those flavors popped. The convection heating really brought out the subtle notes, and I got a clean, relaxing hit every time. This strain’s a go-to for winding down after work or easing into a chill weekend afternoon.
If you’re into sweet strains with just enough punch to take the edge off, Cherry Pie might be your new favorite combo.
Joint disease, 2 broken ankles due to disorder, was in ALLOT OF PAIN before session, feet we're on 🔥 pain reduced by 90% I'm so Greatful, it's a beautiful Saturday and I was having allot of pain and trouble standing for short periods of time, this strain helped tremendously, glad I picked up a OZ
I’ve eaten so much food. I’m so flipping hungry still and I am so high 10/10
Super strong when smoked very aromatic as well. I love the cherry yet gassy taste
Cherry Pie is one of those rare strains that can be good alone or mixed with something else. I wasn't terribly impressed my first time trying it and I realize now it's because it's so gentle. It doesn't slap you in the face with euphoria or make you super chill. It's a quiet strain that gently bolsters your mood while keeping you relatively sober.
The smoke isn't too thick, and I usually don't end up coughing much, if at all, when I smoke (and I have airway issues). I don't taste much from this strain, and I've tried 3 different brands. The flavor is as gentle and as subtle as the effect.
Now, as far as mixing strains, Cherry Pie is the perfect sidekick. Because it isn't terribly potent, I often like to mix this strain with Area 51 or Strawberry Lemonade that share similar effects. They compliment each other well and lead to an even more happy high.
Overall, I think this is the perfect strain for beginners or for those who are sensitive to THC.
