Old toker has stated the case correctly. Old school 'lumbo did NOT have piney notes. It had a ultra pungent sweetness that is difficult to describe but once you've smoked it you never forget. And it did go down smoothly but then 'expand' in your lungs and almost always make you cough. It was also full of spotted seeds. Seediest weed ever. But it was sublime...the high was indeed almost psychedelic. You could not do anything but stay in one place and observe the visuals and laugh for at least an hour. Then a trip to the ice cream parlor was in order, at which you would absolutely worship a well-made banana split. Then a nap was necessary. It was hypno -couch weed if there ever was. I would love to be able to find it again. All the gorgeous sinse I have seen over the years....all that skunk and all the pine; none of it has come close to that old school seedy columbian gold.

Gets four stars for strength and looks. The taste is super earthy.

This strain is actually pretty dope. You feel your feet just fine. Everything is very extraordinary, with a tinge of coolness. It makes you want to jump left and right, but also, it will turn everything smooth and great!!

I got this strain in thc distillate form so my experience might be a little bit more intense than most people’s, but this strain did an AMAZING job at making everything 10 times more interesting and entertaining. Also, be warned, one hit off of this had me eating my entire pantry.

Columbian Gold strain is by far the best i have ever smoked. The true strain disapeared about 1979,1980 and i haven't seen the real strain since.We would get pounds that would be a big compressed muffin. There is only one pic on here that represents it and its the one that is totally gold. Like previous reviews stated you will know when you smoked it cause its a high you wont forget.Just wish it would come back along with the red leb hash and the real Thai sticks DAMN I sure miss those days.

Grabbed some Columbian Gold Rosin by Avitas and this stuff is a great Sativa, stuff has me real focused and uplifted right now with my anxiety fading away....yea this definitely deserves 5 stars. Pain level around a 2, Spasms down to a 1, has me really happy, I love it and highly recommended it to all.
