Very pleasing, mellow buzz that leaves you fully able to cook, carry on a conversation or take a stroll. Good choice for us boomers, especially if there is a boring party in your immediate future. Only negative, the good effects only last about an hour, then you get sleepy. But still quite enjoyable.
I have anxiety/panic attack issues. Some strains (mostly sativas) can make my brain just lose it. Dutch Treat is panic attack kryptonite. I am very careful when I talk about anxiety because it is a serious thing. I don't take recommendations lightly. I can recommend Dutch Treat whole heartedly. Please...always be careful though. Fare thee well!
Grew this and have cloned it, not a stand out in grow, looks, taste. I have tried it cured now for 2+ months and it is obviously super high in CBD as it relaxes you very fast. I tried it a few more times and really don't know how to review it because I keep passing out before I can get some thoughts together to rate it...Definitely try it if you are looking to relax and crash.
Smoked an extremely high THC variety of this strain (30+) and wowwwy I was high. So high I almost can't describe the high, but certainly very relaxing. Extreme mental fog and accompanying memory loss. This is a good strain for watching cartoons or something which requires similarly minimal mental energy. I wouldn't smoke this if I needed to get any serious work done.
Got pretty baked pretty quick. Was super thirsty didn't have a drink (munchies got me)... definitely lifted my mood and relived some stress though. Next time I'll have some simply limeade or some fruit punch and I'll be Tony the Tiger.
Dutch Treat is to Amsterdam what Exodus Cheese is to London or at least was when I was there a few years back (both places) so things might have changed but in Amsterdam it was what everyone was smoking and it was every where. It's supposed to be a 80/20 indica/sativa but it seems to lean heavily on that 20% it starts you out with an uplifting energetic feeling with a pleasant head high that slowly transitions into a more relaxed body high that is nice and mellow without any problems getting off the couch. I recently picked up some Omega Consentrates nug run crumble that was so sparkly it looked like a butter colored disco ball. The flavor was awesome not alot of earthiness like usual but you could really taste the citrus come through and the high you get from Dutch Treat make it perfect for dabs. Try it you'll like it nice upbeat then relaxing strain!
Lost a star for density (an oz looks like a half)
Lost a star for potency (looks much more potent)
Taste grate and looks very intriguing also makes a lots of sizzling noises which makes it a real treat
