Quality smoke. Very mild taste. Has very sneaky effect. Nice quality but not overpowering initially, and then kicks into another gear. I didn't really feel the headband effect but really enjoyed this one.
This strain is a perfect hybrid. I normally find I get anxious with sativa domination hybrids however I would and do recommend anyone and everyone trying to get a nice head high go headband.
First timer with this strain. Small, dark, and dense nugs with a lemomy-skunky aroma. The mellow and relaxing body high begin soon after the first puff. Definitely a creeper effect. The cerebral takeover is strong and long lasting. Have snacks and a comfy sofa or bean bag nearby because this flower packs a potent punch. You may find yourself laughing at nothing in particular or over a conversation you suddenly realize is only with yourself in a quiet room. Stereotypical stoner stuff here. You will forget small details of life (keys, phone, wallet, laundry soap, your middle name) but the trade-off is a long-lasting relaxing high that will leave you coming back for more.
Makes me very relaxed and can forget about my pain longer than any opioid. Also helps with my anxiety, stress and nausea.
Initial impression: I stuck my head into the gigantic glass container, took a big whiff and sighed with relief. The pungent, citrus earthy aroma was strong and inviting. I purchased this pre-rolled joint from Medicine Man Medical Market in Glendale, CO. Was just looking for a strain that would give me a decent buzz. Fell a little short, and here is why--->
I use a scale of 10 points, 10 being the highest possible score in any category, with 3 total categories, Taste / Aroma / Potency.
Aroma: 8.0
As stated above, this is one of the more pleasant cannabis aromas I have smelled. It has an earthy base to it, with rather pungent overtones of skunk and mild citrus tang to it. Aesthetically, I liked the compact tight buds, had an almost crystal sheen to the buds, pretty neat to look at.
Taste: 6.5
It definitely did not taste like it smelled. Not to say that the cannabis tasted bad, or funky. It was really quite pleasant, just not the tastiest I have ever had. Lets put it this way, I'd hit it if someone passed it, but I wouldn't go out of my way to buy it. The taste had lemon/ citrus undertones, a an earthy/skunky overtone and an earthy waft; again a pleasant strain, but certainly not the best or my favorite. I will however give this strain a another try, maybe I got a weak plant, who knows. This strain is worth another try, after all some of the best shatter I have ever had is Headband.
Potency: 7.5
The high was mellow and easy going, not like some of the other strains where I felt like my head is in the clouds. It was nice, put me in the zone for a little Play Station Gran Turismo 5 work, not bragging, just a fact, took 2nd overall in the GT world A-Spec Champion. That should give you a sufficient description on how focused I was.
Final opinion: This strain was grown very well, I will definitely look for this strain again for one more try, my fingers are crosses for hopeful improvement.
Total points awarded: 22 out of 30, definitely a middle of the road strain.
This strain is amazing I bought 1/4 from my Budtender. After a few pulls you instantly feel it in your head and it slowly travels to your body leaving you relaxed. Not to mention you are extremely euphoric and a little on the giggly side!
Amazing strain! Had some Headband crumble and smoked it out of my gpen. Very nice body high with a little bit of head high. I usually smoke this at night time before I go out with my buddies. Doesn't make me to silly or our of it. However, be careful with how much of this you smoke. As others have said, it will creep up on you and get you high as an airplane.
I'm smoking head band as we speak and it's a very nice strain and the high is very mellow
