Jesus OG reviews

Hands down one of my favorite strains. It never disappoints! It’s a true hybrid. It brings up my creative side while giving me a sweet and mellow body high. It doesn’t make me crazy hungry, but it does enhance my senses, especially hearing. Oh, and it tastes amazing.

What an interesting strain. Listed as an Indica, and sure enough the package on my vape cartridge says “Indica” in big print. Thought I’d give it a try anyway as I’m a Sativa guy and there is lots of confusion in these reviews on what kind of strain this really is. The high is pretty much all body, other than feeling it in the face like other reviewers have said. Almost no discernible head rush. With all that being said, ironically what follows is a top notch Sativa like energy ride. Nothing high octane, but still very good for getting necessary things done. Another surprise, a very clear and focused head. For me, this is a fantastic choice for social situations and being out in public. No noticeable dry mouth or red eye either. Only physical downside is it’s harsh on the lungs. Not the best thing to experience during the Covid crises. The upside of this strain is clean, clear headed energy, a positive vibe with no (at least so far after a half dozen smokes) negative thoughts/paranoia, and a gentle comedown. Negatives are some harshness on the inhale, and a slightly underwhelming high. Maybe it’s because of the lack of a head high, but I could smoke more of this without feeling like I’m losing control (I’m a lightweight and it’s usually one hit and that’s it). Seasoned smokers may want to look elsewhere perhaps because of this lack of potency. Of course that can be subjective so always know your tolerance.

Amazing. Energizing but not overwhelming. I smoked it with my partner and I was talking their ear off. It's an incredible social strain, super fun for chilling with some friends.

Relaxing and uplifted

I feel like if Jesus walked the earth during modern times, I believe he would pick up a dank bag of Jesus OG because he’s kind of a narcissist. As for me? I enjoy it purely on the fact that eases my body yet frees my mind. So for this reason, I say way to go strain, way to go!

I’ve had over a dozen smoke sessions with this strain, and I can definitely say this is a heavy hitter. When opening the jar, the dense citrus aromas combined with salt/savory undertones will grab your attention immediately. The buds are very packed together. It’s quite satisfying seeing how a small bud can go for 2-3 hits. If you’re on a budget with your budget going to the dispensary (like me) this is a great bonus. After 2 hits, I would recommend waiting a few minutes, even for experience smokers. Like many OG strains, it packs a punch. Another nice thing is that it doesn’t give you insane munchies, which can be nice since that’s more rare to find. There are a few downsides to the Jesus OG. It will give you a dry mouth and eyes. If you’re planning on being out and about and want to be discreet, I would recommend a different strain for that situation. Very important: make sure to drink water right after you smoke this strain, you will be blessed 1-hour later 🙏 And probably good to hold off from anything alcoholic for 1-2 hours after your smoke. I know a lot of us like to double dip but this isn’t the one to do it on lol
