OG Kush reviews

This review is an update of a previous review I made a few months ago about our famous OG Kush that many consider as the god of cannabis, especially here on the West Coast. I first rated this strain as a 4 because the reality is, because of it's fame, a lot of growers planted this seed but after that only cared about money and the name so they ended up on the shelves with a somewhat average to no good product. Since then I tried a lot of good quality products in this range of strains so I have to give it back it's 5 (4,8 to be exact). This is a great herb that gives you both a powerful body and head buzz. Had a very fun and creative trip most of the times I was on this one. In term of taste it's a kush taste so Earth, Sweet, Pine, Wood blended so it' become a Hashish mashup with citrus and herbal notes. It's great for party, socials, artistic creativity and hiking. Kills pain instantly. It can go either for anxiety (get rid of social anxiety in my case). Just be cautious if you're a new cannabis user because too much can make you really anxious and paranoid (happened to a friend and myself I was a little anxious on this one once). Just control yourself and the flaws I mentioned won't happen or will be easy to control. Not for beginners. Simply some of the best weed you can get if you're grower really care about his or her trade!

This strain was high on the list to grab on the wife and my annual pilgrimage to Colorado. We were happy to find some at Native Roots in Dillon. We would have loved to have picked up some bud but they only had it in prerolls. Even so, the aroma was very old-school on the nose. Later that evening my wife and I sparked one up and both remarked how we liked the taste...a bit woodsy and classic. We had a little bit of coughing but that was more to due with us being a bit greedy on the draw. The high was pretty quick to set in and immediately went straight to the head. We sat and talked about snowboarding as well as the snowmobiling we had planned along with a bunch of other things we had planned. We decided to chill out in the bedroom and both had to steady ourselves a bit when we stood up. We started laughing as we watched each other walk a zigzag path to the bedroom. We sprawled out and a pretty wonderful feeling of euphoria soon had us grinning like cheshire cats. We both were experiencing an extremely comfortable body buzz that morphed into quite a state of arousal (TMI). We couldn't say when the high subsided since we both kind of drifted off to la-la land some unknown time later. We were both grinning at breakfast the next morning. No doubt more OG Kush will be in our future and we'll definitely be suggesting this strain to our like-minded friends.

What's to say? Legendary strain with amazing properties. Truly a staple hybrid for people. Helps with seizure auras and ptsd flashbacks. Obtained as a concentrate pen, only need 2 puffs to get the relief wanted. the pen is at 4 volts and works wonders. always a great and medical strain. Will explore this classic strain further in the future... There's just so many strains! How do you find just one strain? I need a bunch of different stuff to taste around.

Strong wood and leafy flavor with a nice relaxed feel. Been using a cartridge from Standard Farms

Great hybrid.

I used terpenes of OG Kush added to clean CO2 extracted oil, and vaped with vape pen. Wow! Amazing terpenes! This strain is great for pain relief, and definitely gives some couch lock/sleepiness that one could either cave in to, or fight off and redirect it to staying focused to get some chores done around the house. Smells earthy and almost lemony/floral almost. Great strain!

Good head buzz... tastes very good... buds are really dense and compact... love it will try to grab again...

Good for an evening smoke. Doesnt put you right to sleep but slowly guides you in that direction. Relaxed mood, an old classic. Better strains out there though.
