OG Kush reviews

I like it woody lemon taste great for after a long day of work o get rid of a headache. But the strain I got I am on the east coast so I think it's from svg kush.

This strain is very popular, and it's deserved, due to it's medicinal properties. My post here is to do two things: one, correcting leafly's suggesting that it is not available here, in and around the San Luis Valley of Colorado. It is, because I grow it, as do a number of others I know personally. I don't know if the dispensaries down in town have it, because I grow my medicine, so perhaps retail outlets are the measure. That said, point two is that my experience as a grower in high mountains has OG Kush less than ideal. I've tried it in the greenhouse, and in the ground. I've grown it organically, and with chemical fertilizers. It's harvest is mediocre, and the buds are nominal. I tried it different ways, because I was going to do some pollination experiments, and name some varieties.... (MG Kush- Mountain Grown, for example). The strain just hasn't warranted further time with experimenting. Outdoors, it's brittle- limbs and main stem break when confronted with moderate winds. Indoors, it's yield doesn't compare to other strains that offer similar medicinal results. Perhaps it is perfectly suited to "Ocean Grow" conditions. But it isn't up here in the mountains. I'm going to save the granddaddy purple pollen for a more productive strain I've had good crops with (perhaps one of the White Widow clones from the great plant I just harvested, or a Bubba Kush, ChemDawg, Grape Ape, Sour Diesel, or Bruce Banner, all which work great up here). I'm not specifically condemning this strain, as it is a great evening relax buzz. But for growing at over 8,000 feet, there are just too many other strains that perform better. I won't be growing it again.

Great scent and flavor. This strain works well with my wife who gets very fidgety with sativas. We usually sit on the couch and smoke this and it knocks us out quickly without us even trying.

Oh this is like the God that started so many pheno's that are amazing. This is Hindu Kush x Chemdawg. Chemdawg in itself is an amazing story I suggest you check out. This Is a Sativa hybrid, but I have heard of Indica phenos.It is strong similiar to trainwreck a little to me. It's usually a strong high thc sativa, with a pine, and kush taste. Taste great. Not for beginner. It makes me really creative, love to hear music on this strain, happy, amazing sativa hybrid. Not something I would smoke a lot of at night time. Maybe just a little. Seems like it would keep me up.

Really good strain. This is what I get if I can't get a pure indica, and it hit's just as hard with the body high.

Me and two other friends smoked OG Kush for two days straight and i tell you, that was the best two days of my life! I had like a relaxing and creative high! but one downfall is if u dont have much food in your house or if u dont have money to get food then i wouldn't recommend this strain because i tell u what, i could not stop eating! lol, i had twenty piece nugget from mc d and a pizza and a whole bag of cool ranch doritos!!! lmao but i did love this strain a lot!!!!

picked this strain up yesterday. but i gotta say, actually not my favorite strain.. it took a lot of this weed to get me high, and when after smoking a half a gram i finally got high. but about 10 min into the high, i got extremely paranoid. but besides that, i really like the earthy flavor of this weed, and i VERY much recommend to grind this weed with some Dutch berry, they together taste amazing.

this strain got me high and couch locked for hours. I slept like a baby and was so relaxed the whole time. OG platinum Kush is a great Indica, it has a smooth earthy taste, like dirt. but it isnt unpleasant.
