This weed will have you trippin out, colours become more vibrant. Thinking becomes very clear Puts a big fat smile on your face and this all lasts from 5 hours to forever and I dont have a very low tolerance, leaves you in a good state of mind. Very long lasting stuff.

I live in Panama and by the end of 1998 I try natural, red long thin leaf strains from the natives in San Miguel island, it was bad preserved(wrapped on news paper), but the taste and action were perfect. It taste like woody with cajan pea or pigeon pea flavor(maybe the fertilizer or other reason) and the action was accurate and satisfying with creative ideas, quality smile and kind of horny feelings.

Panama Red is a fun old-school strain that's definitely worth smoking a few times. A really nice mellow high that takes care of my anxiety and still leaves me clearheaded. Not a very strong smoke, but still worth it.

I lived in the Canal Zone '71 to '73. Red was a very sticky rust colored strain that would give you trouble staying awake beyond 10 minutes if you smoked too much. It was generally harvested towards the end of the dry season around march, lots of amber. And no it is not from Colombia, it was grown mostly in the Perlas Islands off the coast of Panama. Dove for STRI (Smithsonian Tropical Research Institute) in that area many times. I also doubt that the Red available today is the same curtesy of the toxic eradication programs of the time. Amazing sativa effect. Uplifting, energetic euphoria. Awesome day strain. Felt extremely positive and motivated. Very functional. Could be a great strain for depression. Long lasting with a long, smooth comedown. This one was from SMMA, and I'm really hoping they get it again.

Received this as a goodie in the form of a pre-roll from a local dispensary. Had a peppery smell and taste, smooth smoke, and a mellow high. Did little to nothing for the pain and migraines.

Good for focus and daytime operation. Cerebral, happy high. Felt energetic and focused; helped me study for a long time. Increased music-listening pleasure and I became more social and talkative. My appetite increased quite a bit (be mindful of what you eat and quantity when smoking this strain). The high lasted a couple hours for me and the come-down was mildly sedative, so after finishing my work, I didn't have a difficult time getting to sleep. The taste was mild to slighty sweet with spicy overtones. I would highly recommend this strain to those who suffer from depression, social anxiety, lack of focus (ADD, etc.), and for those suffering from stress and body pain that are fatiguing and debilitating. Highly functional and pleasant high.

Acquired a whole bunch of Panama Red 'Shake' from Bay Area Healing Cooperative today. Really great stuff, not too strong or any crazy sensations, but just a really good sativa buzz. Felt like rock and roll the entire time. Perfect daytime high, could definitely pass as not-high with this. First time buying/smoking shake and so far I'm loving it. And a big thanks to Bay Area Healing Cooperative for the extra pre-rolls!
