Pineapple Express reviews
Read people’s experiences with the cannabis strain Pineapple Express.
A go-to sativa for an enjoyable, uplifted experience. I like to smoke this in the evening and play video games or watch the strain's namesake movie. I sometimes have experienced flashbacks of fond childhood memories while using this strain.
Most of the time you'll get some hyped up no name strain passed off as Pineapple Express due to the sheer popularity of the movie. If you happen to stumble across the real deal however.. it's some mighty fine juju.
Sweet, smooth pineapple/pine flavor and smell. Great texture and smooth hit. The effects for me are energetic in the head and effortlessly relaxed in the body which is very unique. My level of anxiety, stress (PTSD), fatigue, depression, and lack of appetite dramatically decreased. I greatly appreciate the medicinal effects of the strain. Pineapple Express is in my top 5 out of my top ten list.
Not the dankest looking strain... light green leaves.. tropical look... you can tell it's a hawaiian hybrid... Smells amazing like pineapples.. Tastes tropical, much better than its parents.. High is cerebral and enrgetic.. Good weed.
Interesting creeper sativa with a productive high and good taste, but may not satisfy those looking for heavy hitters or a full body high.
The buds are quite sativa in appearance; long, stretched, branched, and not super dense. Light green with long curly orange hairs is typical with a general spear shape to the flowers. The smell (to me) is deeper fruit than pineapple, more mango or kiwi-banana but noticeably tropical. The taste is a little sharper line pineapple but not pungent or heavy at all.
Trainwreck by itself tends to be a real instant head-hunter; while all the famous Hawaiian flowers tend to be those long lasting creeper 'happy' sativas. I assume the cross was meant to put some brakes on the Trainwreck (limit anxiety/paranoia) and extend the length and mood of the high with the Hawaiian. I'd say this was acheived nicely - it's like a fuzzier/kinder/slower Trainwreck with less crash and more 'uplift' than dizzy-ringing-banging sativa high provided by stuff like Sour Diesel (which I admittedly enjoy quite a bit). I definitely feel more productive/lucid with PX than SD or Trainwreck - though perhaps not as highly medicated; the tradeoff is the long lasting high that makes you want to get up and get moving on something. I admit to not being a huge fan of previous 'pure' Hawaiian strains that I've tried - but I think PX captures nicely why they are sought after at their best.
Good tasting strain. very uplifting high .
A great long lasting high. It's great for doing chores, and activities considering it lacks that "sack of potatoes" feeling you get when you smoke. Focas is great on this strain, perfect for doing work overall.
