Purple Diesel reviews
Read people’s experiences with the cannabis strain Purple Diesel.
Writing about Purple Diesel pure powder, 96.80% pure, tastes insane, definitely a must try for everyone. Just put a little bit in a bowl or Vaporizer, I usually top it off with dankness. Trust me on this one my friends, don't pass it up, hopefully my pics upload right, also I got it from Magnolia Wellness!
Excellent strain, good for multipurpose.
Sativa-esque effects kick in near-instantaneously, and are a nice head buzz (behind the eyes) without being too overwhelming.
T+10 mins: the more sedative effects begin to kick in. Stress all but evaporates. I feel calm, collected, and confident in general.
T+15 mins: May as well be T+30 mins, judging from how I'm losing track of time. At this point, much more of the calming effects are present, but I still don't feel couchlocked. I can still get out and do things.

It's a decent hybrid, very similar to Blue Dream, The main difference is that the Blueberry in Blue Dream lends a happy, goofy feeling whereas the Purple in Purple Diesel is more relaxing. And, like Blue Dream, it's mellow... maybe it's just me, but neither strain gets me really stoned, and they both make me sleepy if I over-smoke.
I'm a big fan of hybrids, being the happy medium of effects for me. Purple diesel is quick in its delivery, and is a great choice for daytime smoke. It puts me in a great mood, has a pungent, but pleasant aftertaste/smell to it. Very sticky buds, definitely a great strand for less cost than some of the other famous strains
Wow, picked up a 1/4 of this last week and damn! It about knocked me out, and my pain too! Excellent strain if you want to completely relax.
this is some fire for real. i been searching for sour diesel in my city this is the closest they had to it so i thought i try it. the aroma is fantastic. i had a spliting headache it went away in a matter of seconds. love this 1 a must try.

Hey, I'm a medical grower out of Northern California. I've grown two different PurpleDiesel strains over the years and my second strain has been my favorite. Both strains genetically turn purple even with <70 degree temps. The fan leaves on both strains also turned orange-red-purple-black hued. normally a mix with a major black/purple tip to stem. (I'm on my third rotation of the second strain right now) The flowering pattern of the two were very different, the second strain being extra ordinarily dense with an extra heaping of trichomes on each bud/calyx tip (loses less mass than any other strain I've had while drying) The bud is pure purple, and without having the name you wouldn't know any diesel contributed genetics. The high is creeping, relaxing, and confusing. You may smoke .2 grams, think that you're not high, so you have another .15, and then you just feel a 'chill calm' but 30 minutes later it'll catch up and you'll be couch locked and your eyes will be puffing up. Good in the early morning or later evening but not a preferable mid day smoke. Hope that helped some people out :) Note to growers: this strain is very easy to manage in veg state, but beware that once flipped to flower this strain is extra light sensitive so change out your work cfl bulbs to the lowest possible lumens and make sure your walls are 100% tight. This is also considered a quick solid 8 week strain. I have a buddy growing the same strain for years and he doesn't even check for amber anymore- always harvest at 8 weeks (but I let mine go 8.5-9). This strain will also seem like a slow starter when flowering; my GSC and other strains all have fatter pistil bunches week 3-6, but after that the purple has a hormonal spurt and catches up quickly.
