SFV was developed for the OG's of the San Fernando Valley SFV-13. They wanted an Indica Dominant Strain instead of the 50/50 effects of
OG Kush. I know this because I did the Work in 1977-78, indoors in So Cal. It was from Crosses with an Excellent Mexican "Bag" Seed x Seed from a Thai Stick, , Afgani >x Hindú Kush
From Holland.

I really like this strain. I’ve been bouncing between this and Sunny D for a couple of months. At first I liked Sunny D better. I was looking for something to help with motivation and energy. The Sunny D is great for that but got me a little manic, which is pretty rare, maybe every 15 years or so. I started crafting like a fiend. I was not sleeping much but had to keep crafting. Eventually I crashed and decided to try a SFV again. Sunny D tastes way better so I preferred it but now I don’t mind SFV’s taste ‘cause it feels so darn good. It’s like that warm euphoric feeling you get when alcohol first hits. Just warm and comfy. 👍🏻👍🏻
This strain was unexpectedly amazing. It didnt have as high of THC % that I usually prefer, so I think I underestimated how it would feel.
This was a smoke-before-bed type of strain for me. A bowl before laying down was the perfect way to doze off (or get sucked in to a creative project)
I did notice with this strain time seemed to move quickly
