High energy, very compelled to complete tasks, but difficult to remain focused on one thing or stay on topic. Great for a relaxed weekend afternoon where things might need to get done, eventually.

Let me start off by saying, if I hadn't been trying to use Sour D for menstrual pain relief, I'm sure my experience would have been different. This strain is invigorating. If you're looking for a hard core energy boost, this is definitely the strain for you. But ladies, as many of us know, a hard core energy boost is usually not what we're looking for when we're on our period, trying to relieve cramps. This was like a Monster Energy gone wrong. I was shaking, my eyes would not stop moving (even when my eyes were closed), my pain intensified and concentrated itself, and (since I was hiking in the mountains that day) I threw up off the trail. This all might be a bit TMI, but I want to get this out there for awareness for my fellow ladies. If your looking for relief at your time of the month, this may not be the strain for you. But please keep in mind, we're all different! According to the description on here, many people use this strain for relief, so I might just be an outlier, who knows. Just something to keep in mind!

This is a special one. Truly a complete strain good for any activity day or night. A few smooth tokes and your mind is unclouded and free to see the positive in everything in sight. You’ll feel inspired to express yourself freely and motivated to be the person you’ve always aspired to be. Need to sleep after a long day of productivity? A few long rips to the dome radiates euphoria throughout your body, sending you into a deep rejuvenating sleep. Chronic perfection.

Amazing flower for migraines! After 30 minutes of smoking I can feel my body relax, the a few minutes later the whole migraine is lifted away without making me sleepy it’s a great strain when I can’t find Pineapple Express. The aroma from the flower is pleasant, piney and sweet.

It was great. I forgot how time worked. Never been higher in my life. Laughed at literally every little thing. Definitely a do again.

When it's good, it's... well... pretty much the best. It doesn't 'pop' when you see it, but Sour Diesel - when well-grown and well-cured - is probably my favorite strain of all-time (although my recent experience with Gelato has birthed a close competitor) The psychoactive effect is a potent, dreamy, creative, blissful state with a tinge of melancholy. But a soulful, aching, ethereal kind of melancholy. In fact... perhaps it's a tinge of 'sour'... This is an unbelievable strain. I've come across two particular standout batches - the first was from an old hippie grower in Humboldt (of course) and the second was more recently, from a store in Arcata. If I recall correctly, the growers were True Humboldt. It came in a vacuum-sealed bag and was $35 an eighth, which was why I tried it. I typically assume that you get what you pay for. But I should have known: the growers with the magic touch -- and the spirit and character that leads to the most pure, premium cannabis -- would never dispense their flower for $55 per 1/8th. Verdict: Don't judge a book by its cover. Sour Diesel is a wonderful strain that should be experienced by all cannabis enthusiasts. Score: 9.8/10
