not the creative inspiration of a good blue dream strain. but a better pain reliever than some other sativas. mild energy boost. a little sleepy at the same time. distracted, but feel pretty pain free overall. a little thirsty and i want to close my eyes because they're feeling Dry!

This is a great strain. It helps with my pain and depression. It keeps me uplifting and happy. This is my 2nd favorite strain.

This is a tremendous strain to keep you UP all day long and get your chore list completed, with a big old smile! Note to self - remember to keep the strong smell confined, it must be double or triple bagged! Flavor is good, piney and that familiar "diesel" after-flavor that Sour D gets is known for. 3-4 good pulls if smoked; or a "bag" vaped from the old Volcano will have your get-up-and-go going full bore again. Giddy Up!! Worries - Gone... Pain - Nada.... Anxiety- Bye Bye! This heavy hitter will bring on a strong level of happiness and euphoria that never disappoints. This Sour D is from BASA on Divisadero and Grove in SF. Great area; 4505 Meats is next door and the Bean Bag Cafe is an awesome coffeehouse on the next corner downhill on Divizzle. Sunday mornings there's a farmers market in front of BASA with really unique produce like cantaloupes in honeydew shells and blood orange. It's outdoor, maybe a long grow with how dewy with THC the hairs and leaves are. I'm writing this now because of the taste: it leaves a taste like squeezing an orange or lemon peel into your mouth! (the peel, not the fruit) It's pithy, tart and crisp, how quality Sour Diesel is. Hmmm.... meditating on it, I think some of the appeal with Sour Diesel is that last descriptor, the crispness. The lasting impression, that sour taste, works as a balancing note on the high. Y'all know what I mean, right? Not sobering per se, but the taste is a grounding element when you smoke Sour D. To be totally honest, reserved people looking for a sativa without catching giggles might dig Sour D. The distinct flavor profile is also something people can use as a baseline for personal research. I probably felt the nuances of this strain more than most, since I've spent the last month smoking GG#4 exclusively. The first thing I noticed was the dark green color compared to the tennis ball hue of the GG. The smell is dank and thick, almost cloying. Coughing is a given for me when I hit this strain. Sativa through and through...no laziness involved in this high, energetic and uplifting. Muy cerebral.

one of my favorite strains. me and my friend smoked a gram and we were high for at least 7 hours and the next day we were both so happy and uplifted.

This strain tastes quite delicious. The high kicks in about 20 minutes after you smoke a blunt. The kick is a 7/10. The smell is also a negative. Smells like “Diesel.” You can’t hide this shit from a cat down the street. I would invest in a shit-ton of febreze before smoking.
