Tahoe OG reviews
Read people’s experiences with the cannabis strain Tahoe OG.
Bought this in batter (wax) form and the concentrate is amazing. It’s not as heavily sedating as I thought, but I’m a chubby short girl so it might hit you differently.
This had to be one of the most unique O.G. strains I had come across up to that point, but nonetheless, it is still some O.G.. Strongly aromatic in skunk aroma with a tendency towards a woodiness and Sativa-terpene characteristic profile, this strain was exactly what I thought it was going to be: a Sativa-leaning O.G..
By the looks, it honestly looked almost exactly like Original O.G. but with a slight predilection towards white pistils with a very slightly lankier bud structure although the width of Original O.G. was still recognizable, and density was the same.
Taste: slightly harsher than Original O.G.; you can tell it's got more of a Sativa character to it (aromatic woodiness in the lungs). Skunkiness still comes through and is maintained though augmented by the limonene.
Effects: exactly what you'd expect from the description. O.G. with a cerebral focus that can get, 'zoney' with larger amounts. Small and moderate amounts carry through well to provide a balanced effect that has a predilection towards mental euphoria, relaxation and calmness while maintaining alertness. This is not what I would call the, 'strongest' of the O.G.s.
Overall: it was alright. Not the best, not the worst. Seems like it may be quite useful for various specified applications.
Would I buy it again? Mmm... for a specific use or if there were nothing but other flowers in stock that I would be less particular/fond of (such as short-acting, minimal intensity strains). I will admit that: the duration length for this flower's sensation was not bad (moderate).
Recommend to Connoisseurs and Sommeliers? Eh... they probably already know what this is. If not... I'm sure they'll be alright - not really anything, 'Earth-shattering'.
Recommend to first-timers and inexperienced consumers? Definitely. You could roll an entire gram for your first experience ever (with even just one other person in on it), and you'd be fine I think.
I liked it but if I wanted to go directly to sleep I would just take a sleeping pill. This strain knocked me out and didn’t really give me time to enjoy the high.

Definetly one of the best strains i smoked so far !!
starts cerebrally in the head, then slowly hits the body with a heavy buzz...very relaxing, euphoric, easy to pass the time, evens out into a stoney body buzz

Here is a little relaxant that does just exactly that. I found that the effects of the strain were a little on the physical side. As in, there were not many physical activities I was capable of.
As for mental effects - there were some of note -- not the clarity that a really good sativa gives me but notable just the same. I would not want to spend incredible mental effort on anything important while using this but -- then again -- if I couldn't move terribly much and had a laptop handy -- I'd think of something to write or create.
Mild aroma to be sure and that is a bonus in these presentations.
As always -- your experience may and likely will vary.
Incredible. Took one or two rips out of my bubbler and very pleasantly stoned, couch locked, watching Planet Earth. This is some potent stuff. Little dab will do you with this one folks!
Tahoe had become a staple in our stash. Perfect strain for a good night's sleep, and I'm also now realizing how effective it is for migraines, which I have often to the point of being stuck in bed. Smoked a bowl after the pain and nausea got too intense and within 15min I was hungry and able to function a bit better.
I can't smoke this one all the time, but I love to keep some handy.
