Thai reviews
Read people’s experiences with the cannabis strain Thai.
I've used this probably a couple dozen times (vaporized) over the past month or two, and although it's not a favorite, I like it and can't say anything bad about it. It's rare that I get super baked with this one, even if I try, so that generally is not my goal with the Thai. The taste with my Pax 2 is earthy/dirty, tangy, and foresty; I don't care much for the taste but at least it's not harsh upon intake. I do experience more of an upbeat and mentally energetic affect from this, more of a head high than a body stone. It does well enough with controlling symptoms of pain and nausea which I have daily. I tend to be a bit more thoughtful and talkative with this, but not in a silly way as I do with some indicas and hybrids. It's more of a regular everyday type of strain that I could effectively function with, but also help with relaxation when the time comes. Also it doesn't have the tendency to depress me like some others seem to. I'll continue to use this and maybe purchase again someday.
25 years ago thai was quite the novelty as we could usually only get old skool rocky, soap or red leb. thai had a very unique look. dry smell and burning smell, taste and most interestingly of all high.
yep it was a real treat !
fast forward 25 years and it's taken pretty much all of that time to find something that's as good. After getting brick weed sold as thai on multiple occasions I recently got given some decent stuff.
colour is light and darker in places
smell is earthy yet aromatic.
it's dense and somewhat resinous.
taste is unmistakable earthy very slight citrus tones ending in a leather
HIGH .. this is a sativa landrace .. it's clear and focussed with a mildly relaxing body high
A blooming lovely experience
if you can get it .. (not brickweed) buy it !!!
Pure buzz! This shit is so dank it gets you buzzing within the first few hits, and lasts a good while, with a gradual comedown. Has a nice head buzz with slight weightless feeling, tingly body effects, and generally makes you more energetic, happy, and outgoing, yet very focused and slightly more attentive. Perfect for busy or physical activities, anything creative or requiring focus, or if combined with food good for watching movies. Not a strain for sleep though.
I'm just going to tell a little story about this stain in its natural habitat.
This past January I was doing some work on a tiny island off the coast of Malaysia, quite close to the Thai border. I didn't think I'd be smoking at all since I didn't have any connections and drugs carry such a stiff penalty (life in jail or execution!) but luckily for me, the native islander I was working for was quite the affianado. he had a friend on the mainland who would get weed in from over the Thai border and we'd pick up on resupply trips. for about $20 you'd get a 5 inch rectangle of highly compressed weed wrapped up in masking tape and plastic wrap. it was so dense, you'd have to slice off a piece with a knife and chop it up. with a reduced tolerance, it was heaven. it's hard to guage the effects because the setting was so magical, but I'll always associate Thai weed with wandering around a rainforest dripping with life or bobbing in the gentle lapping waves of lukewarm water as the setting sun turned the sky above and the water below to rose, gold, and purple.
This strain will forever hold a place I my heart.
Really nice old school sativa that isn't too overpowering. Ideal for a wake and bake or light activities. It is one of the more leafy strains which and looks a greenish brown with a mild woody earthy aroma to it. When bought its really tightly compressed and sometimes wrapped in red string. Not sure about prices in America but in UK and The Netherlands it costs about half the price than skunk, sometimes less.
Thai can come in a variety of forms and phenos. The don't all have that intense cerebral sativa high they are known for. This Thai we had was a more meditational, mild and relaxed version. Definitely not indica in any way but also definitely no raciness. This is the sort of weed we need more of on the market these days as it's so easy to smoke more regularly- even on a weeknight. Nice experience !

Welcome to Thailand peeps,
The original thai stick is gone for a while now. I was once has it(Thai brick weed with red ribbons) Those are the closes one to original thai stick. But my last having it was 2014. Neverheard of them since then.
That good sativa is awesome as well because you find easily happy with her. The good taste is very nice and you do like this earthy woody taste is always welcome and provider of good vibes for a long time. Honestly it's perfect to meditate or focus on something of your mind at anytime you want. I love this very good wrapping strain.
