I generally prefer sativa for its uplifting effects and clarity of thought. Yet, as we speak, I'm getting high on some lovely indica, and it's a lush sigh of relief after the jittery ride that is trainwreck that I was smoking earlier this evening. I've smoked trainwreck several times now - indoors and outdoors, active and chilled - and while in amongst the racing thoughts have been a few deep insights, relentless introspection can take its toll. It was certainly potent enough to lift me out of a depressive funk, but it was more a nervous energy than uplifting.

Was the forst strain. Pretty flavourful, with nice smell.

I picked out Trainwreck on a whim. I was looking for a new sativa to try, and the description said that it was energizing and promotes creativity. What stood out for my most was the energy and focus Trainwreck gave me. I have ADHD and couldn’t believe I was experiencing enhanced focus and energy from cannabis- this has NEVER happened to me. I am the opposite of focused and rarely energized by cannabis, even most sativas. Trainwreck has been the exception. Additionally, I have always wondered if a strain existed that would not give me insane munchies- another thing I experience heavily no matter what I smoke. I noticed an hour or two after smoking that I still had absolutely no munchies/appetite in general. Could not believe it. Not a strain to use if you rely on cannabis to help your appetite. Definitely recommend if you want to try a strain that helps you feel focused and energized. If you feel like you lose control with the munchies, I also recommend this strain.

This can make me get a great heady feeling at times. It helps with relaxing me without making me sleepy.
