For sure one of my favorite Sativa strains. Waking up taking a hit of this and starting the day was great. Once I felt myself starting to come down another hit helped me finish the day. Very relax and calm but also alert and focused.

Picked up a cut from Cookies SF, the bud was glistening with trichomes and produced a substantial amount of kief when ground. The smell is reminiscent of berries and it translates to the flavor of the smoke quite effectively. Even towards the roach end of the joint, this bud stayed fresh-tasting. With a pretty high tolerance, one regular sized zig-zag joint left me feeling the full spectrum of effects. A wave of euphoria and uplifted body-feel mixed with a haze feeling in your head, probably due to its G13 lineage. Effects are potent and mellow, not overwhelming or too strong. Energetic but NOT focused, good for binge-watching television or playing some casual sports outside, maybe going for a hike. Overall, solid A on flavor, B- on effects. This strain is good for novice smokers looking for a quality strain with a more unique sativa-haze combination. Seasoned smokers can also delight in the specific effects brought on by this strain.

I smoked this strand last night and got a pedicure and it was the most amazing experience I've ever had. I've only smoked it a few times now - but each time it leaves me utterly happy. I truly felt like a bubbly glass of champagne as another reviewer said. I don't know if anyone else has experienced this, but this strand sends little tingly jolts in my body about every 15-20 mins. They're pleasant, but they sneak up on me. I can be in bed watching Seinfeld and a little tingly jolt down my body and it kind of wakes me up a little. Interesting. Great strain.

This is creep strain which for me isn't great because it's a cerebral creep.. awful for my PTSD. I had temporary pain relief due to that hint of indica but again a racy cerebal high with a slow come on is a no for me. It'll force you to be creative though makes you move so that's a plus

XJ-13 - wow, you have exceeded my expectations. This is the first strain that actually made me feel happy. It's not only enjoyable, it's downright cathartic and emotionally therapeutic. Initially gave me a burst of energy in the first couple minutes (which I don't want) but that was quickly replaced by the nicest body buzz i have ever experienced. I felt like a bubbly glass of champagne. The sweet spot of relaxation without anxiety, couch lock or munchies - exactly what I was looking for. I could get up if I wanted to, but I didn't have to. Add to that a spiritual element, which must come from its parent Jack Herer. The beauty of XJ-13 is that it keeps the spiritual side and removes the weird anxiety I got from Jack, and replaces it with the nice body buzz of G13. About 20 minutes in tears began to roll for no apparent reason. I wasn't sad, only felt a great emotional release, after which I just felt better in general.

absolutely one of my favorite smelling strains. high is quick to hit and great for a good gaming session as you are not locked into the couch.

The XJ13 I've been smoking (from a bubbler) is very smooth, mild-smelling, and earthy tasting. What is magical: XJ13 is quick to relax me, and I'd say its mostly a cerebral relaxing. There is a body mellow to it as well, but -- and this is what I like about it -- my body is still high functioning. Body agility and mental clarity are both positive hallmarks of this lovely strain. What I'm not in love with is the head-buzz it gives me, which often-but-not-always feels like a low-level headache accompanied by a vaguely uncomfortable pressure behind the eyes. Still a very strong 4 star strain in my humble opinion, and given its popularity, these side effects may be distinctive to me.
