It is always such a great experience shopping at Shades. The staff are so knowledgeable and friendly. They take the time to really get to know their patrons. (By name in fact). I can trust in any recommendation I am given because the staff know me and know what I will benefit from most. The best thing about Shades is they make you feel appreciated and no matter what...they are ALWAYS smiling!

I was directed to the right 1 gram pre-roll to help finish a large (non-driving, desk work) project this afternoon. The budtender suggested Jean Guy from Good Supply to help with concentration. I've tried this same variety before in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan. I remember finding the minty, piney tasting and dry-mouth-causing pre-roll to have a stronger potency than other pre-rolls. Also, Good Supply's pre-rolls burn much better than prep-rolls from other companies (like, erm ... Tweed, perhaps?). So, I was tempted to try the Jean Guy again. Jean Guy has what's known as the traditional energetic Sativa punch (although some budtenders might say the real differences between couch-lock and energetic weeds are based on the terpenes on the plants, not their cannabinoids and their Indica and Sativa heritages, but that's another rabbit hole. Most important: the Jean Guy pre-roll tastes great and burns very well with no clogging in the filter. I have purchased pre-rolls from shops throughout Alberta and Saskatchewan; from Olds to Assiniboia, and Calgary to Peace River and many of the pre-rolls I bought didn't burn very well at all. Some companies offer much better pre-rolls than others. Good Supply is one of the best legal cannabis sources for pre-rolls from my experiences - and this includes the smoke I had today.

I do not like that the web page is not updated on a regular so a person can see what is in stock and the prices that they are going to pay.

All the wonderful ladies that work here are all very knowledgeable, uplifting and over all just great people. The store is set up very welcoming and open to conversation. Would recommend this business to anyone and everyone.

Beautiful store in Horseshoe Bay, I missed my ferry and was able to get some awesome products suggested by the very knowledgeable staff. They had a large Pre Rolled selection which was perfect for me having to wait 2 hours for the next Ferry. Already looking forward to my next visit as this is easily my new favourite store.

Oceanside C-Weed is a great place: lots of product variety, wide knowledge of all things cannabis, very friendly, curated, high end cannabis-related merch, and Kush, a very fine dog.

This place has the best pre rolls and the joints are real fat with big variety will be telling friends and family come here
