I vaped this strain in a high-tech "non-hydrocarbon," "raw, unrefined" (and pricey!) CO2 oil cartridge from EVOLVD, whose slogan is "true to the plant." They list the strains in the mix as Tree of Life, a beautiful, uplifting strain in its own right, Sour Sage (a.k.a. Sage n Sour) and something they're calling "Queen" - though there are lots of varieties called "Queen" - just run a search on "Queen" here at Leafly, and you'll see a bajillion hybrids with "Queen" in the name. It's a terrific strain. This stuff is useful in sooo many ways. As EVOLVED has formulated it, it's got 76.84% total cannabinoids (40.63% THC with 31.72% CBD, and 1.85% CBG). It's got great taste, great aroma, a great high, and a unique set of medical benefits. It's uplifting, a bit arousing (if you catch my drift), and considering its heavy Sativa lineage, it's surprisingly uplifting and mellow while it's energizing and giving you a creative, happy buzz. We've found it ideal for a final nightcap, easing you into sleep with profound relaxation, pain dissolution, and a pleasingly wandering mind. It's also great if you wake up in the night -a bathroom break, for instance. It leads to deep, restful sleep, but if you DO wake up, a pull on this cartridge will ease you right back into sleep. We're going to be looking for more, which is surprising, since we usually prefer much more THC-driven pot.

"The Guice" is showing up all over Maryland dispensaries. It's from Harvest of Maryland, though the original strain seed appears to have come from Exotic Genetics, a cross between the beloved GG#4, and something called "Orange Valley" OG. The flower tastes great ... a bit citrusy, a bit dieselly, a bit fruity. Nice, complex mix, but I'll be interested to see what others find. The effects are a nice take on its GG#4, but without the couch lock: deeply relaxing, and pain melts, but your mind is sharp and there's a physical "uplift" along with the high. Looking forward to more of this one!

A good location, with a quite large variety. Quiet, secure parking. Helpful staff. An eGo-C Twist vape pen I bought there turns out to be a knock-off, though, so I that "dings" the quality rating. Also, I opened a jar from them expecting bud and found ground weed. Not a huge deal, but clear labeling and perhaps even mentioning it at the point of sale would be good.

True to the legacy What a terrific dispensary! The original founder was a pioneer in alternative healthcare, one whose commitment to the healing arts was absolute and often courageous. He'd be proud of this dispensary if he were alive today. A calm, welcoming environment with courteous and knowledgeable staff. And it's not that "store greeter" kinda friendliness. It's a genuine warmth. The menu is well-curated, which also means it may not be as extensive as some dispensaries I've visited, but it's actually an advantage. Because they've been conscientious on selecting strains and delivery methods, there's less need for an overwhelming variety of varieties. The strains and modalities selected are focused on patient care and quality. And the real test of a service organization is often how they handle it when things don't go perfectly. Here again, Remedy shines. They were out of a product that had been included in a "special" offering, and when they failed to provide the exact item I needed, they graciously extended an alternative offer that was tailored to see to it I'd get not just some random "weed" but a product that would actually serve the same need as the product they were out of. They did this graciously and quickly. I'll be back here again and again. I can find larger, more "impressive" selections. I can even find good, solid customer service. But this small, well-run shop will set the standard because of their deep commitment to the healing arts and patient care. Those commitments pervade every aspect of the Remedy experience. And NO KNOCK-OFF VAPE PENS! YAAAAY!!

An exceptionally fine bedtime vape snack. A vape hit of this concentrate is the perfect capper to a long, active day: it's tasty, it smells great, it's dreamy, easy, and one hit will deliver a very solid, happy high. I do find that about 4 hours later, if I have another 3-4 hours to sleep, a second hit can be nice. I especially like the fact that although the mental high is quite strong, I can still dream with this Old School weed - I won't remember the dreams, having been too deeply asleep. But you wake up knowing you've had lots of dreams and for me, that's a good thing. It actually feels like what its name implies: this is Old Guard, Original Gangstah dope. Feels a little like getting high on an exceptionally fine middle-eastern strain from, like, 50 years ago. And that's a very good thing.

A very high potency strain that smells like one when you open the bag: strong, dirty odors of earth, diesel, and general sour funk. The neighbors will probably ask. That's if you answer the doorbell, because it's likely that you won't. GG#4 will have you, as promised, glued to the couch or to a loved one. In the latter case, the doorbell will make you giggle. The strong high presents only one problem that I can think of: though it physically glues you to the couch, it's not a great choice for beddy-bye, because while it profoundly relaxes the body, the mind keeps going strong and fast. First time I took a little hit at bed time, I thought, as all the tension and some mild pain drained from my body, that I was settling in for a good night's sleep. Eventually, that happened, but for a surprisingly long few minutes ("hours?" "days?") I lay there with my mind milling hard on ... on ... on ... I forget what, but my mind was very active but my body wasn't up for the ride. All in all, a great strain and once the alertness has passed, it even gives great sleep, if that's what you wanna do. There's something really wonderful about being free of physical tension, pain, anxiety, whatever, while having your mind feel adventurous.

High potency, deeply relaxing. Slow build to a near-total physical and psychological euphoria. Superb pain relief; easy sleep, yet possible to be awake, conversant, thoughtful. A fully realized high, but not to be taken lightly: its potency is sneaky but can be overwhelming once you're on a full roll. When my partner was having some bronchial difficulty with vaping, I put all of our Alien Rock Candy into cannabutter. Oh, for joy and wonder! Even sneaker slow build to an even deeper stoner bliss and even more profound relief from stress, pain, insomnia. There's nothing bad to say about this stuff. When vaped, it even tastes good: sweet, fresh - not cloying But whoa ... I'll repeat: brace for the potency, start off with just a hit or two at most, or a tiny bit of well-made cannabutter, then settle in, preferably with no major plans, except maybe to enjoy some intimate company before happily floating off to sleep. "Row, row ... row your boat ..."

A fine, up, mellow high that's never brought the slightest "too high" feeling. It's a great day buzz ... but I've also found it fine to sleep on, too. Just a very good balance between a head high and a body high. It's great - I mean, GREAT - for an afternoon in bed with a friend.

Slow build to a strong, happy, energetic, euphoric high. Don't over-toke: since it builds slowly, your first really good rip might be plenty, so back off and wait a while before taking another. It's potent! It'll taste of truffles or mushrooms or loam or something - then the fruit comes alive, something like citrus and berries or some sort, and maybe some citrus. It'll stink up the house, too! Jeeze. Vacuum seal this stuff or just live with the skunkiness.
