The name is absolutely apt, cuz it's like getting hit with a nine pound hammer. My wife and I smoked 2 buds of this each last night. All I can say is "wow". I went from fairly energetic to slouching in my chair in a hazy, dreamy state. Even fell asleep with my light on. Great strain for a just-before-bed toke.

This strain was to help me with sleep. I have MS. After using 9 lb hammer, I began to have immense pain in my neck and then I felt like someone had ahold of my spine trying to pull it out. I was unable to speak clearly and had lost all co-ordination. Trying to walk, I began to have odd movements and I had felt the world was moving out from underneath my feet. A couple of months later, I tried it again had same results. If you have issues with balance, you may want to take this in consideration.

Great for before bed. Out of nowhere, you're super tired and ready to go to sleep. I've had both concentrate and flower.

This is my go to when I want to sleep. Only down side is I get crazy munchies. But I can barely keep my eyes open after smoking this.

It can always pull me out of a funk and get me to relax then sleep. Real clear headed too.

I've been smoking for over 40years. I can honestly say this is definitely one of the best. I have severe pain due to being hit by a person having a psychotic episode while behind the wheel of a car! I've been taking RX duilade & Oxycodone for 5years and I want off of it if possible. 9lb was amazing in helping with the pain. It also helped me sleep better than I had in years! The 1st time I tried it I didn't have any idea MJ could have the affect it did. I literally fell asleep while the nurse was visiting. I did get used to it though & learned how to dose properly. I would definitely recommend this to anyone that has pain, severe pain & problems sleeping.

I absolutely love this strain. It didn’t take much to get me where I needed to be and that says a lot . Plus it looks and smells amazing
