Acapulco Gold reviews

I am fairly new to smoking flower, three years. I like to do a wake and bake and have yet to go " Jeezus this is dog poop, I will never smoke this again!" I am not a weed snob. I am not a beer snob, booze snob, destination snob or a coffee snob. I am the fifth kid in an Irish Catholic family. I'm just happy to be included and not get a nugie. I am very open to try new things. That said. Acapulco Gold really is smooth. It's like sitting next to a pleasant fire with a hot coffee laced liberally with whiskey, thinking of everything and nothing at all. The kids are asleep. Your spouse is asleep. The dog does not have to go out. The cat has not lauched itself into its nightly reign of terror. The bills are kinda-sorta caught up. No one is sick. The car hasn't shit the bed. The dog hasn't snacked out of the litter box in a week. The cat hasn't thrown up a hairball in two days. The kids are decidedly not the shit heads my siblings were or the asshats his siblings were. They're on the honor roll, play sports and have friends. The sound of the washing machine churning and the drying turning along with the crackle of the fireplace and for one perfect moment in your chaotic life, everything is pretty f*cking good. Then the sound a cat horking on the carpet brings you back to reality, you finishing your Acapulco Gold, clean up the gack, decide to vaccuum the entire room, pick up everything in the room and realize the kitchen floor is a wreck, so off it goes to sweep and mop land! Hey, the garbage needs to be emptied, off we go the cans. No one took the cans down this week.. which means no one emptied the upstairs bathrooms...... Oh yes, the cans are full and finding their rooms to be hazardous in daylight, under the cloak of darkness, empty their cans and take out the laundry while they sleep. Two-three productive hours and several piles of laundry later, you finally go to bed, falling asleep instantly.

Taste? Normal. Looking? Typical bright sativa. High? It feels like my head, especially lips, is rubbing to an orange like I am eating a woman's azz. Because of the first generation strains I had from crossing original landraces, it wasn't that good. It made me expect this strain that counts as landrace strain from Mexico to be mild or just clean. Then, I found out that the effects of landrace strains were clean, and now they are not. Because it was just like a Haze strain, but no paranoid but also a good relaxing body pressure with strong buzz in head that spins like buzzsaw or no-signal channel on TV. Also, it has been decades, so I guess taste would also be different. By the way, just from like consecutive three or four tokes I just took 10 minutes ago, I am really getting super tickly buzz with TV no-signal sound in my head so big while my body is just getting a mild soft pressure. I just never expected this to be this good. Whatever this became after genetic changes for decades, this is really good anyway, literally just a Haze strain but no paranoid, I feel, maybe a little bit of a headache from hard head pressure. I'll be honest. I would give like 4.8 to this strain, if I be precise, or maybe 4.9. Literally 5.0 always for there is a thing that can be better. 100% recommend, at least the one from Jonny Chronic. Says 27.5% THC, but they normally bs 'bout it, so let's just say it is likely to be less, but I still feel super high with head stimulation, even though this one doesn't have THCV. Now, a gram of Acapulco Gold will run out in like 2 bowls or less. But I really love this, I want this more. TOP 2, I feel like it is, for now.

This is the very best strain I've ever smoked and everyone I've ever smoked it with agrees. This was back in 98,99 when clubs were still very new and rare when I first smoked Acapulco Gold. The particular batch I smoked from was grown half hydroponic til budding then moved outdoor in Santa Cruz. It was grown, trimmed and cured properly by an old hippie. A lot of people including me thought it was bammer at first glance because of its darker brownish color but boy was it dense and frost bit. When looked at closely it had a gold shine to it esp in the sun. Smelled sweet with a coffee like undertone and a real skunky dank funk to it. Literal 1 hitter quitter that hits instantly. You choke on your first hit because of the expansive thick smoke it gives off wasn't expected. You were not ready at all for this smoke. The high was even better. This bud will make you laugh out of nowhere and everything just seems hilarious. You feel sedated but energetic at the same time. The next thing you know you and all your friends are lost in your own neighborhood and everything seems scripted. You are ONE HIGH ASS MF! I could tell so many hilarious stories of the times I'd introduce this strain to people 🤣 some of them developed accents or completely forgot what day it was to full on hallucinations. I just got a vape for 20 bucks of some accapulco gold and it took about 10 back to back hits to get me to the that level but it worked and is the same exact kind of high. If you see it anywhere, grab it fast because it is rare these days. Top 1 strain in a league of its own

Alcapulco Gold in my oppinion is a Good strain but best grown indoors nurtured with starting the seeds in fish emulsion a fed 5 5 5 manure tea during vegitative growth then finished with either Fox Farm organic bloom formula or fruit of the Gods organic formula and use 1000 watt HPS lights to grow this strain and finish with a red LED lamp to bake the plants a little longer for a late harvest giving this strain a more skunky smell. The smoke of this strain varies alot from an outdoor grown cannabis flower which has a light herbal taste and some what hay pot smell but a relativley good high when smoked in a joint. If you are smoking indoor grown cannabis a standard pipe or water pipe has the best taste and a much higher effect on me. I notice this strain outdoor produces a nice well rounded smoke around 20% THC but indoors grown to it's max potential ends up a great high around 33.74% but I have never grown this one indoors I just bought some instead. I grew this strain in Oakland California one time and never made it back to harvest or taste the product back in 2014 but my relatives who did smoke it called it hemp. I do like Alcapulco Gold around Oregon alot of shops carry it but usually temporarily as the strain sells out pretty quickly. Since I see this strain come and go every year I bought two oz of the 33.74% Alcapulco Gold to share with my friends and family as Soon as I could Get it Thank You S&S Emporium of Coos Bay Oregon I Love You Guys! The taste of the one from S&S Emporium is rich and earthy but skunky in its thick resin taste. This strain when grown to such extreme proportions to produce a 33.74% THC specimen hits like a 1980's organic indoor skunk number one without the couch lock effect. To rate the outdoor I would give it a 5 out of 10 rating but the indoor high THC variety of alcapulco Gold I would give it a 9 out of 10 rating. The third version I tried of Alcapulco Gold was very nice as well which was from Kmade Alcapulco Gold From Hebal Choices in Reedsport Oregon 22.55% THC has a light arm pit smell or skunky aroma and has a nice uplifting high to it even after just one puff slow and deeply inhaled and slowly exhaled where as the other Alcapulco Gold was far to powerful to hold the hit in long enough to not be just floored by its high. The Kmade Alcapulco Gold hit me like a nice white widow strain a nice starting high that started to play with my mind a little bit making it easy to get on line and just read all the interesting stuff I have been putting off due to working long hours. This strain tends to get rid of my tired attitude. If you work at a cannabis shop this may make a great wake and bake smoke for you as it is motivating and will keep you talking. This strain is best when it is dried and cured a little longer. At first once you have hung and dried this strain you may notice it smells like hay and flowers from outdoor but if you trim it extra good and avoid touching it to much and let it dry and then cure for about a month and burp the jar at least once a day your cannabis should suprise you in it's alluring smell. If your growing this strain to smoke out doors I would stick with smoking the occasional joint of it to get high as trying to take bong rips of this makes me taste a sort of banana after tastes which turns me off where a joint tastes kinda nice and earthy. The Karmic elevations version of this strain I got from S&S Emporium has a sort of play dough smell to it with a hint of skunk and cinnamon smell to it with a Great over all high but the Kmade version sold by Herbal Choices had the easier going high care free really happy go lucky even feeling. The difference of the two is remarkable the Kmade version has a real white appearance where as the Karmic Elevations has a really Golden hue to it. I'm not sure which high I like more the Karmic version reminds me of skunk number one in its heavily baked rusted on the vine appearance and deep high or the Kmade version that has the best initial high in other words was the best if I could only take one puff the high from the Kmade version was extra special like a good white widow gets you high and puts my mind at ease but the Karmic Elevations Version got me alot more stoned and both don't cause me any anxiety. I would have to say the Kmade verion is the best to smoke by yourself while the Karmic version is more to share among friends as I have a hard time finishing a bowl by my self in one sitting. The best taste, high and bag appeal and smell of Alcapulco gold strain that I have tried was the Lacroix Family Alcapulco Gold Organic indoor from Vermont. The appearance is a pale golden colored bud peppered in dusty crystals and the taste of the smoke like chocolate and cinnamon orchata after one puff your high after two puffs your stoned after three puffs your appearance changes you show bags under your eyes and your eyes start to get closed a little bit and I start feeling very playful with a nonstop smile. I really enjoy both the Kmade version Alcapulco Gold for its uplifting effect and the Karmic Elevations get me stoned to the bone effect but my favorite one has Got to be the Lacroix version of Alcapulco Gold. I will however keep trying different versions and give a new review of the new ones I find at a later date thank you for reading!

I have heard of this strain my entire life and am well aware of the hype around it . I had street weed and you never really know if you’re getting what they’re claiming. I finally found it at Cox Blythe Dispensary and had to try it , even though I was skeptical that it would impress me since it was barely 20%. I have to say it reminded me of my early days when I first got introduced to good cannabis. It has a feel good high and while calming my mind just enough to really focus and troubleshoot without the cloudiness of some strains. I will definitely be getting another batch . The flavor to me was almost like a fruity tobacco taste with a little spicy essence in the back of the throat. Very mellow smoke and loose sticky buds.

picked up an 8th of A.G by Victory from Bay St Dispensary in J.C.,N.J.and well Dammmm 😍🌟🙃. Great Flavor and Aroma , not Sweet, sugary or Fruity . Instead its a Herbal(Tea), Earthy, Incensey (piffy), Hashy and Oh Soooo Good. Energizing, Invigorating, Certain to Lift any1s Mood . Never had the original A.G.from the 70s/80s but if this is anything like that classic , So Glad I picked it up.

Back in the day, if I could find it, AG ,kicked my ass. It was like the first serious weed. Everything else was leaf, seeds and stems.. Alls it took were a few hits off a skinny joint cuz the stuff was expensive. Today I caught an eight at $15...all flower. Today's version is right there with the Gary Payton, Runtz experience at around 20% thc.. and Im glad to see it available. Very sticky filling up a 3 hit bowl for the bong. Nice round honey kinda tastes. Easy on the throat and lungs.As a young man I had no educated pallet to even consider tastes and flavors of the weed. And thats what the high is like, energetic with no sharp edges, everything is round and at a slower time frame to enjoy observing and doing and long lasting without a indica bring down...reminds me of how Northern Light takes one to unique indica highs, AG is a unique sativa high.; Outdoors in a later afternoon on a warm sunny day . If it was named anything else it would still be a , "keep some in the cabinet at all times"..
