Acapulco Gold reviews

The best sativa of all time!!
My father used to tell me this was one of the best weeds he’s ever smoked when he was younger. Up until this year 2023 I’ve never seen it or heard of anyone having it. Almost a year after his passing these prerolls show up out of the blue. Top 3 buds hands down I’ve ever encountered. I just only wish I was able to burn one with him.
If you find yourself staring into space holding half a joint...what you are smoking is perfect! When you finish it...not quite outer space but 30 or 40k feet off the ground feeling fine! I judge strains by what it does for my pain/disorder and this hits the meter for back pain, anxiety and social interaction relief. Not a good judge on taste but it smells like the 70's.
I love that I can readily and steadily get this great original strain. a local Missouri grow farm sells it out of their home shop and it's fantastic. Been smoking for over 30 years and this still hits like it did when I was a kid.
Nice productive high without being handcuffed.
Love the coffee taste
I can't say enough good things about this strain, it is my absolute all time favorite and could happily smoke it for the rest of my life. (I've been smoking the heavy hitters carts exclusively) I'm neurodivergent and it had helped me SO MUCH with my excutive disfunction and sensory issues. It's a celebral euphoric high 🥰 As a sativa it's mood boosting and energizing but somehow also really helpful with pain from inflammation. It makes everything better! Food, TV, social events, sex! There is not anything you can do that won't be 10x better while high on acapulco gold.
I've been smoking for 55 years (I'm 70). Acapulco Gold was the second strain I purchased, the first being an unnamed Mexican. I can't describe how golden the buds were, like a sunset filtered by the righty light. Weed commonly sold for $10/oz where I lived and when the rumored Acapulco Gold actually did hit town it went for 50% more, at $15/oz. A lot of smokers I knew were skeptical of it based because A), the hype and/or price, and B) nobody there had ever seen or smoked it before. It was jus that rare in the Midwest.
I was flush that week and wanted to try see what it was all about. The buds sparkled in the moonlight when I met the seller, a friend (the most common way then). We smoked a joint--and I immediately knew it was worth the price. It was night but I felt pretty energetic. It smoked nicely, smooth, well-cured and came on apace, I should have stopped sooner than I did. It was most definitely "bad ass weed."
I smoked that ounce way to quick; I wanted to share its goodness with friends. And by then it had disappeared from our area, and I've only come across it a few times in the 50+ years since then. When I do I get goofy and buy as much as I can (practically) afford. Yesterday was my social security payday and I found it listed online at the two stores I buy my monthly supp]y of hash oil and found this legendary strain at both stores. I live in Washington state where there's a 21+ legal cannabis store every few blocks, it seems, and even here it is hard to find. I went on a spree and bought 5 grams of it out of 14 grams of oil in total. I didn't intend to buy as much but got carried away when I saw it. I should have bought more, hid some of it in the back of my dab oil-only desktop 'fridge, and saved it for a rainy day, it is that good. Instead I'm smoking it right now; I can't help it. It is like a day spent in the early '70s, trippin' along with friends.
