Black Afghan reviews
Read people’s experiences with the cannabis strain Black Afghan.
Smooth black pepper smoke, seamlessly cools throat yet burns. Intoxicating smoke mellows out the dog in the room as well. Instantaneous feeling of euphoria like your face is melting off. Best plan is to sit ten minutes following a bowl to regain bodily functions. Only reason not a 5 star is this strain will be very rarely seen at PA medical cannabis pharmacy.
Really good strain, smells really strong, had to clean it before consuming it by using peroxide and cold water rinse followed by squeezed napkin - 24 hr well ventilated air dry. Still smells pretty strong after being washed and cleansed. Heavy-hitter, two or three tokes is all you need to start feeling medicated and lasts for hours, even after sleep! Real good strain, definitely no-less than four stars out of five!
Very nice, smooths everything over. Relaxing and heavy, definitely good for bed time, also nice for my chronic pain
Lovely strain—I felt very chill and comforted by this one.
great bedtime strain. relaxing but still let's you focus...until you melt away at least.
I had two rival dispensaries separately recommend this strain to me as the staff’s favorite indica.
Black afghan is the indica that does not make you feel lazy, “down,” or sluggish.
Keep your motivation and/but be relaxed about it.
Top 5 strain for me!
wow this stuff is fire. if you ever come across it, GRAB IT.
A 100% Indica that leans more to the mild side of the spectrum.
Highlights of the experience with Black Afghani: Low and mild body vibes at onset with a sense of grounding. Mind calming at lower doses and early into the experience, but gives way to a very dreamy state where deep, and even profound thoughts can occur. The stone is pleasant but mild. During the peak of the experience, if the dose is high enough rising sensations can be felt for a short time, but they dissipate rather quickly. The come down on this one is very easy without any negative side effects like some other strains can produce. The feeling after having come down from this Cannabis strain is one of having just taken a small nap.
Imbibed at night it can cause one to become somewhat more sleepy than they normally would at that time, but Black Afghani is not by any means a knockout Indica from my experiences with it.
Black Afghani smokes hot, but not harsh.
Can induce ravenous hunger that is impossible to sate. This is what I dislike the most about this strain, but for those who need an appetite boost, Black Afghani's ability to do that is one of the strongest Ive felt.
The smell of the buds is one I can best describe as Copal like with notes of pine. It is a sweet and soft scent which is probably the best bud smell I have so far experienced. When crushed, there is a citrus scent that becomes apparent.
The taste is somewhat piney.
I give this strain a solid B rating. I prefer heavier, deeply stony Indicas personally, but I have found no other strong negatives with this strain aside from its propensity to smoke hot, and its induction of ravenous, insatiable hunger. Otherwise though, Black Afghani is an excellent winding down strain at the end of the day that will neither knock you out, nor blast you into space, but allow you to both either stay lucid and chill out, or close your eyes, relax, and drift on gentle waves until you are ready to hit the sack.
