Colombian Gold reviews
Read people’s experiences with the cannabis strain Colombian Gold.
colombian gold strain is the perfect smoke if you want to stay focused. i used to smoke this strain way back in the early 1970s. i have tried colombian gold from various seedbanks. but i only rate the one from a company called landraceseeds they are based in the uk. there strain is as close to the 1970s as you are going to get these days. it was nice to see them golden nuggets and the taste and the aroma transported me back in time.
I have moderate-severe Tourette’s syndrome, and this is the only strain I have found so far that completely eliminates the urge to tic. I am amazed, this is far more effective and even less impairing than the antipsychotics or benzodiazepines I would be put on.
it's a great strain, you can smoke and it doesn't make you dizzy. anytime you can count with this thing. loved it
This strain is a Godsend for ADHD/ADD. I was smoking on this and watching a movie and it was like a cloud parted and a sunbeam of focus shone out of my brain.

While I agree with most, if not 90% of “Old Timer Here,” what is most certainly incorrect is both her/his misguided understanding of sinsemilla (gender selection in preference of female strains) and color (in the sense that color depends on a multitude of factors, including: strain, cropping time within budding cycle, storage condition including direct sunlight, humidity level within storage bags. Santa Marta Gold is the Magna Carta of marihuana.
I m with the old timer. This strain was the best. I’ve never been into the “couch lock” strains. This was uplifting but mellow.
One of my favorite strains of all time, it's legendary because it comes from the snowy mountains of Santa Marta in Colombia. There that weed grew for thousands of years and also absorbed the nutrients that came from the Caribbean sea because this mountains are very close to the Santa Marta city that has plenty of beaches.
The smell is very strong, citric and kind of skunky.
The high is great, you get clearly sativa efects such as having lots of energy and creativity and focus.
*I have noticed that you get the creative or concentrated effect depending mostly on the context and how much you have smoked.
Despite the above this strain also is very calming and good for staying at home and chill, but this bud is great to exercise as well, i remember that it used help me a lot in the gym.
Another old timer here and as others have said Columbian Gold is not green, its GOLD ! I had some in 1967. It was so unusual we did not know what to think, as having pretty much just Mexican bricks at the time. It had very large spongy buds. When twisted up and smoked gave off a very thick smoke.
I often hear "This ain't your grandpa's weed". Well the younger crowd can only hope they'll ever get a chance to smoke this stuff. I had something to compare against - Black Nepalese Temple Balls a friend in the merchant marine brought back from India circa 1970. I've smoked some good weed in Colorado but it is lacking something compared to those two, not exactly sure what or how to express it. One obvious thing is both the Temple Balls and the Gold had a very long lasting high.
