Critical Mass reviews

When I first tried this strain, I loved it. Then I had it so many times it was losing it's effectiveness. After moving to a state with a fraction of what the other state had, I've been having difficulty manging my symptoms. Once I picked up a 1g syringe of CM distillate and got home to dab, I felt better instantaneously. The small level of CBD helps my inbalanced and motion sickness. It helps give me an appetite even though I don't want to eat. The Skunk #1 sativa dom parent prevents this from being a total couch lock unable to function kind of high. This is a solid, reliable indica strain with great pain relieving properties. It will now be a strain I'll try to keep in my medicine box all of the time it helps my neurological issues.

Firstly, I just want to point out that leafly does not allow paragraphs in any review, so my neatly organized reviews from before ended up being a one-long-cloud-of-text mess. So this time, I am going to use a lot of spaces to at least make the sections from separate from each other. So here we go: 1) VAPING: I vaped this strain with a vaporizer (TinyMight 2) in order to get as clear of a taste as possible. But I still sometimes struggle with recognizing the tastes correctly since I am still relatively new to weed. 2) TASTE: All in all, this is my relationship with skunky strains: Too much skunk = I don't like it. And Critical Mass is pretty skunky... If it was just that, this strain would be discarded for me. However, Critical Mass also has some of those woody, piney tones that I like. It's also very earthy, sometimes maybe too much. Strong and pungent too. And since this pungent smell is combined with those underlying wooden/pine tones, the resulting flavor is much better than I expected. The pine there, hmmm, yummy! Also would describe it as spicy and slightly sweet. If there was less skunk, I would rate higher. Taste score 6.1/10 3) EFFECTS: This strain can smack! Heavy couch lock, my body refuses to get up (it really could be smaller to be honest). Pure indica effects. Also quite aroused. Heavy euphoria. Moderate dizziness (fun) that transitions into heavy dizziness (slightly uncontrollable) from time to time. Massive body high. I might have gone a bit too much with the hits this time - like yeah, but still not too much for it to do this! I sometimes take a few more hits, but I rarely have such a strong couch lock like now. Overall it's a very strong and trippy high, but not really the kind that I search for (I prefer sativa-dominant hybrids and hybrids in general). But ok. I will give it another try in two hours. AFTER TWO HOURS: I can still partially feel the effects from before, but the couch lock is now gone. So here we go again, cheers, guys!.... AFTER 30 MINUTEES MORE: Nice, just a body euphoria. One more hit... Flowing, bruh. Strong body high, couch lock is back. Also quite horny. But once again, I am more of a sativa-hybrid guy. I am glad that the dizziness is lower this time, which makes it even pleasant, actually the slight dizziness is the most fun part of this. But still, this strain is way too relaxing. Effects score 4.5/10 4) VARIANT: It's good to mention that I vape this in the form of THC-X. But the molecule is very similar to the normal THC, so the effects and taste will be most likely very similar too. 5) FINAL SCORE: 5.3/10

Wow - I'm floatin'

Hopefully able to edit reviews, want to update the after results come back since I'm having THC/CBD levels tested. Was my first grow, planted seed Sept, harvested my single plant this month (March) at 150g off a 240w xs2000 LED. Single plant in 4x4 fully 100% organic grow with RO water. ILGM Seed bank, started from seed. Transplanted from solo to 5gal, then 5gal to 10gal. 54 day flower. Fed her two or three times the entire grow. This was a true Livingsoil organic grow with some no-till flair haha. I say no-till flair/style since there were components of it (such as not messing with upper layer of soil and having a cover) but not calling it 100% just yet, next run will be. This run had just leaves as a mulch layer, next will have chopped cover crops as well. Effects have been incredible and some of the most relaxing highs ever. You know you're high, don't get me wrong. This isn't so relaxed you barely feel it, quite the opposite. I'd recommend for medium level tokers who aren't a stranger to bud but aren't trying to get ripped as heck. This is a perfect morning and mid-day toke to get what you want done and not be so chilled you're couch locked. There isn't any with CM as it's energetic for sure. I didn't check off the "good for" boxes as I'm not a doctor and can't possibly recommend something like that for someone's ailments but it's loaded with CBD so it benefits quite literally everything according to any science literature on the topic haha

Grew this myself and my buddy keeps asking for more, it has become one of his favorites. I smoked some and hello couch and I was awakwe but not present for about 10 minutes, no recollection of those 10 minutes at all. After that, happy, no pain, no worries, and watched a movie I think and next I know is waking up refreshed the next morning. My buddy is high strung and it totally relaxed him and no insomnia or pain or worries. We call it "This is pot". Just earthy, natural potent pot, simple but highly effective. Very nice Indica.

I went to my local dispensary, The Oregon Grown Gift Shop,  to pick up some crumble, when I overheard the budtender say they had $25 quarters. What?? Did I hear that right?  The budtender confirmed that I did!  WOW! One of the two specials was Critical Mass, which smelled DANK!  I told him I'd take it on site, and later looked at the label and it tested out at a whopping 28% THC!   It dawned on me when I got home that it was probably so cheap because it was seedy weed, and lo and behold,  I found 1 seed in the one nug I ground up so far :)  YAY!  Now I know a lot of people despise seedy weed, but because I grow I LOVE free seeds!  I hope I have lots more! I just smoked a bowl of it, and, POW!  This is fucking awesome!  It smells and tastes great, just as you would imagine Skunk #1  x Afghani to smell and taste like, skunky, sweet, and earthy. This bud is making me feel relaxed and I'm feeling the psychoactive effects of the THC too :)  I am a it of a spaz by nature and frequently use indicas to chill out and relax with. I can't thank my lucky stars enough for being at the Gift Shop at the right time tonite!   This 28 percenter is a hard hitter and this quarter will last me quite a while :) Go get some while there is still time!

Critical Mass This was a great one. Here's the quick review. Critical mass was a very quick burning and heavy hitting medicinal strain. The flavor was alright and it left you somewhere past clear headed but not quite to full on stoned. I got this stuff pretty cheap from a new dispensary. It was about 6 months old. The buds on this one were kind of a low quality. Even some twigs in there for good measure. Green with some of that fuzzy moss on it. No obvious orange,purple or black. Not covered in sugar. Sort of unappealing. The smell was sour. Pretty traditional. It burned quickly and hit the throat moderately hard. Just enough to let you know it was there, but not enough to really really burn. I liked it. I prefer a bong rip that has a little bit of a bite to it. Maybe not everyone does. The flavor hit fast. Sort of a combination of wood at first with a slightly grape aftertaste. I thought it was pleasant. The feeling took a bit to set in. I felt pretty clear headed but not totally. It probably pushed me just a bit farther then you should be driving if that's any reference. My whole body from my head down to my heels felt relaxed and tingly. This was a very very medicinal strain. I felt good and not paranoid , hungry or really really tripped out. This is a great cross between what I would call a "recreational" strain and a "medicinal" strain , leaning more towards recreational. Meaning it has a little bit more psychedelic and cerebral qualities then it would pain, anxiety or insomnia relieving, Although it definitely has those also. Didn't have a lot of paranoia or other negative side effects some of this pot has. That is probably in large part due to the higher cbd content of this one. I was not as hungry as I usually get. Which is good because I am concerned with my diet. But the pain relief and relaxation was there. If I had a higher tolerance , this would be my new daily user. As it is it will probably be a good reach for when I've had a bit more rough of a day. Enjoy the sweet embrace .... of critical mass. - Pineapple Scott

I currently have a brain tumor and this was recommended to help as it had a high cbd and wasn't too high of a thc for me being new to the game( and obviously unwell) I also currently have been suffering from a horrible speech impediment that sounded like a female Forest Gump/stroke patient and I had had that problem from the tumor. I took two small hits off this strain and for four hours my completely normal speech came back!!!!! My leg arm and face numbness and tingling disappeared. I felt happy ( even though they just told me I've got a frigging brain tumor this morning ) I got to talk to my daughter for her birthday in my normal voice and not scare her which made her so happy because she thought I was all better and at least healing! And it gave me hope!!!! I was not super high- I felt pleasant, functional, energetic, and ready to fight this fight for my family and I! Honestly- I could be a poster child for marijuana- if you hear my voice not on the weed and immediately following one or two hits!?!? Night and day!!!!! It was a miracle! That's what it can do for my nerve tissue in my brain then I don't doubt it's helping my tumor as well! God I didn't wait for the doctors to get their crap together they are still working on making phone calls.... I'm sure they will catch up to me at some point... Eye roll. Maybe by the time they actually get surgery scheduled I won't have much left 😜
