My favorite sativa! Hands down
Good Starin. It definitely elevated my mood and it doesn't overwhelm you which is nice. Make sure you wait 30 to 40 minutes before you go out and do something. This strain can possibly be too racy for newcomers.

Favorite strain so far, a true sativa. Great for day time use, espresso of cannabis is the right definition for this strain. However overuse(tried a gravity bong after 2 spliffs) can make you go in a tired buy awake state which makes you do nothing but lie down. Hard to sleep after using this. I Cultivated this one from dutch passion seeds and the plant was very strong and high yielding(top bud was biggest bud i've seen so far) great for social use and outdoors. sativa lovers must try this landrace for sure!!!

Smell: This version of the Durban lineage is very respectable. This was a smell and an instant almost have to buy. I rarely spend this much a gram but it was a great sample of what the high end of this cannabis flower should be. To me, Durban Poison is a slightly unnatural smell for cannabis. A pungent assault almost exclusively its own. Sweet ammonia hazy lemons with a hint of damp earth after a rain storm. Yup, that unique.
Look: Crystal coated, light green and two nice nugs given for my gram. It could use a touch up trim but for how coated the leaf was, I did not bother (rare for me).
Taste: There is almost a Lemon Haze profile here. Not many strains I find taste as good smoked as smelled in raw flower form. This Durban may actually have more of that hazy ammonia taste than smell. Eerie and special.
Recommendation for medicine: Good daytime, get shit done type cannabis. A good one for opening up in social situations, as long as it is not overdone (which is easy to do at 27%+ THC!). If there was an forced island trip soon, only five strains could come with me, this is quickly climbing my fav list and may go with me for the fun in the sandy sun. Definitely a “relax and enjoy life” type of strain.

I can see why this is called "the espresso of cannabis"! I got mine from The Grasshopper in Kelowna, BC, Canada.
Very powerful uplifting mood effects without bringing too much anxiety into the mix. Very good as a morning smoke. Its painkilling effects are mild, but nothing that mixing in an indica or CBD-dominant strain doesn't fix.
Espresso of Cannabis they say, well thats spot on bc Durban Poison is something else! I definitely do not get the munchies but food tastes great while stoned, as always. It’s a different kind of mind high and the smell is extremely strong!
Love it! Never felt so alive!
This is great for when I wanna stay awake and active.
