Durban Poison reviews
Read people’s experiences with the cannabis strain Durban Poison.
Pretty strong sativa.. and even though I prefer indica and hybrid strains, I do like this sativa if I'm looking to feel more uplifted and creative high.. if I plan on playing games or working on some project, it's great. for me, it's strong though and has caused anxious feelings at times (anxiety sufferer to start with). So it's best I plan on staying home and busy when using this one.

Very good sativa strain! Love the taste and smell, looks very appealing! :)
So pleased with this strain very uplifting, energetic, tasty, smooth, and over all appearance is beautiful.
You feel energetic and dizy at the same shit
This is something I thought would be better. ..I guess out of the 3 phenos I like none. ..I must be a indica or hybrid guy. ..it tastes great has the tricomes coverage that will give extractors a hard on. ..but just not what my body needs. ..when you grow this go with half strength nutes. ..big dense buds very peppery
The best wake n bake strain wowzers!
High is filled with get up and go.
Taste almost like soap. Must have said one two many bad words.
This is my early morning boredom poison.
A true sativa and one of the original la d strains. Helpful for creativity, energy, and heightened mood. This is a boost of energy and great when paired with exercise and outdoor recreation! Grab some of this when you see it!
This is the strain for those that purely enjoy the act of smoking above all else, yet it doesn't compromise on it's high, providing an uplifting, almost spiritual experience. This is a strain best for joints.
Visually the buds are very dense, with tiny, dusty flowers with pale orange stamens packed closely together, appearing as one thick mass of plant from afar. The tricchromes are closer to a dark suede than white and appear wet and less crystalline than some other strains.
The smell is sweet -- sweeter than any strain I have tried before, with an overtone of pine and warm earthy undertone. Though the smell is beautiful, this strain is not particularly stinky, like kush or purps, lending a nice pleasantness to itself.
The taste exceeds the excellent aroma, having the flavors of Meyer lemon pie and bittersweet chocolate (which is well-accentuated by tobacco if one cuts their joints this way). The chocolate flavors are tasted on the inhale and the sweet, non-bitter lemon flavors come through on the exhale and stick around for a dozen seconds or so. The best tasting bud there is.
The high is felt almost immediately when smoked, but takes a while to peak -- slow and steady, building up smoothly never seeming to be too much no matter how much you smoke, which, if you enjoy the act of smoking cannabis, is a good thing. It is stimulating, but not uncomfortable with little to no anxiety. There is a pleasant floatiness in the body and the mind, thoughts drifting to a metaphysical, even religious nature. This is a great strain for a few very close friends who love to chew the fat on the bigger things in life.
Overall, this strain is one of my top 5 favorites, perhaps even my favorite. It is a wild cannabis strain, meaning that is has not been cross-bed (though probably selectively bred) and has an "ancient" lineage. It is a wonder the high is so pleasant compared to sativa hybrids. I highly recommend that anyone in need of a sativa dominant strain dry this one.
