Durban Poison reviews
Read people’s experiences with the cannabis strain Durban Poison.
One of the best strains I have smoked. Not a very strong body buzz but it will have you head high!
To quote Jerry Lee Lewis - "Goodness Gracious Great Balls of Fire!" I love this strain! I'm usually in the hybrid camp (since real landraces are so rare these days) but this is one that I'll take whenever it becomes available.
This is my 'ready to get shit done' smoke. Love what it does for the creative spirit. I highly recommend this to any artistic believers out there as a preset to any creative project.
I'm not big on smoking until I'm unconscious so I try to stay with the lighter strains but this one is great to reach out a bit . I love the earthy taste, it fits the high - soaring, crisp and clean like looking out over Paradise Ridge.
Be mindful though, anxious folks should proceed with caution. Too much will make for an uncomfortable next few hours.
I suffer from multiple mental health issues so finding the right chronic can be tedious, sometimes my symptoms get worse, sometimes there is little to no change. This strain has been able to intervene in the pathway of mood dependant behaviour. Granting me the ability to still have a productive day after feeling incredibly anxious. My doctor recommended this to me and I am so thankful.

I have read great things about this strain. I thought it was an urban legend because no one around Detroit seems to sell it. I found it here. What a nice buzz. It doesn't make me sleepy or jittery.
I'd definitely buy it again.

Gas, Fire, Grade A, Bomb !!!!!! , I have smoked this African landrace for years, and fell in love with it the first time I smoked it and is still my go to daily strain. First off, the taste is like smoking a mentholated piece of sugar cane, absolutely amazing. The effects are very energetic, motivating, at the same time, you are focused, euphoric, and are happy/social. Also for me this strain increases my confidence and decreases anxiety. Make sure you get real Durban Poison, some of these scam artist dispensaries will cross it with skunk, to decrease flowering time/costs. Absolutely despicable. We need some oversight. Durban poison will always hold a special place in my heart. Many firsts absolutely blitzed on this strain
This was the first weed I was able to enjoy with any consistency and I still enjoy it very much even after expanding my tolerance.
Relaxing, easy, no paranoia. Great for tension and anxiety.
I generally blend it with mullein, sagebrush, and lavender for a mellower smoke and added anxiety and tension relief.
Durban Poison is like the Espresso of cannabis.
It's a 100% pure Sativa, and is the best example to elaborate what the typical Sativa "head high" means.
Pure joy too boost you up!

5/5
LOVE me some good sativa. This top shelf cut of Durban shows just how good one can be. While original cuts are sativa landrace, must durbans nowawadays are 80/20 sativa dominate hybrids with heavy cerebral highs and stimulating euphoria. Colourful greens with Pale, yellow hairs. The taste is Tropic (not lemony) and almost like a concentrate, terpy and sweet and delicious. Effects are the best for daytime. I even tried this as a bedtime before I realized it does NOT help in that aspect.
