I rate it a 4 because a 5 has gotta best for most bomb shit ever. I actually ordered this online by accident, I meant to order Amherst Sour Diesel but clicked the wrong link by accident. And I was pissed cuz I drove a VERY long way to get it and I wasn't going back. Mostly I was mad cuz the Diesel was 16% and this was 13%, plus I just really wanted the Diesel. But I gotta say, I liked this a lot. Has a very different taste then I'm used to, hard to explain almost like a dried cherry musky taste. Had me laughing a lot too, and got me really fucked up for hours off a few blunt hits. I was worried it was gonna suck because it had a very faint smell in the jar so i thought it was gonna be a dud. Id advise against overdoing it tho because the next day I smoked too much too fast and felt like shit.
Also got some Blue Dream at 16% and some Deep 6 #55 at another store at 26%, which ill be saving for last, although I will smoke 1 blunt shortly, then its back in the vault.
Crazy about this strain. It really is like a 5-hour energy without the crash! I'm clear-headed, focused, motivated, creative, and really overall happy with everything. The focus really is laser, though - sometimes I walk into a room to do something, get distracted by something else, and end up focused on that for the next half hour. If I can keep myself on track, though, I get A LOT done with this strain, and usually with a smile on my face!
Perfect “Wake and Bake”… A cup of coffee, a few puffs of DP and you’re out the door for work.
wonderful for days where my mind and body won't allow me to get out of bed.
Love my Durban Poison..I feel happy, giggle, energetic, creative, & focused. It's exactly what I look for in a strain..Helps with no hunger feeling..Wanna get stuff done then give this a shot.
Review from homegrown crop
Probably harvested way to early, 9 weeks as here is spoken of +12 weeks.
The plant itself is wonderful and beautifully purple, easy grow indoors without much hastle.
My dryed buds smell very flowery, I had never smelled this scent before and is hard to describe. Broken up I am greeted with a licorice scent.
Taste is verry mild, not your "typical" weed flavor.
Personally I like it less, can't describe it.
The high is nice.
It hits right away and I need music, anything with soul and able to dance to!
My Durban makes me very emotional in a transcendant kind of way (like the kind of way you get when consuming psylocibene, but but lighter).
Def a strain to be creative to.
No paranoia, social anxiety also gone.
Pain?...
It also makes me sleepy at the landing point.
As mine was harvested to soon and I smoke a lot of medicine (I think I have not yet experienced its full potential).
One of my next grows will def contain the African strain "kwazulu", I am very curious about this one.
Northern Emeralds, 3.5g, 32% THC. Fastest I've ever burned through an eighth. Smells like Sunny Delight, tastes like mint, citrus, and apple juice. The ocimene notes really stand out, especially at low temps. Very subtle high, even at higher doses. Zero paranoia, ever. Terpinolene sedation is present, but never to the point of couch lock or brain lock. Not really a high-energy sativa, in my experience. Definitely a "thinking cap" strain. Always puts me in a thoughtful, self-aware, introspective headspace.
Works great for people who tend to get munchies in a derogatory way.
