Durban poison is an amazing world renowned strain and for good reason it is a beautiful and a high that leaves you energized happy and euphoric definitely recommend smoke I just smoked a Durban poison skinny getting ready to try silver haze for the first time I think this is the perfect joint to lay a good high base line it is the og as everyone who has ever smoked it understands
i thought it was laced
Cleaned my whole house after smoking on this strain. One of my new favorite sativas. Great for hiking, adventuring, and any day time festivities. If you need to focus and get something done, this is the strain to go with.
I love DP. I didn't think I would love it but it gives me a pick up and go vibe that I wasn't expecting.
This strain is a very nice sweet strain, great daytime strain
A classic, must-have-on-the-menu strain. A wakeful, alert high, mostly in the head, with a clean progression. Wears off with less of that sometimes-annoying slide into physical sedation that most strains lead to. I don't care how 'energizing' anybody says sativas are, there's always a downward slide no matter the strain. Durban Poison has markedly less of that effect. Partly because of that and mostly because of its delicious flavors and predominantly upbeat effects, I don't want to be without this one in my repertoire. Great for daytime use, I'll always reach for this one before something like a Sour Diesel.
It's a good strain, but tasted a little fishy to me. I don't exactly use cannabis for pleasure (I have debilitating migraines, and this is the only thing that really makes a noticeable difference), but it's always nice to have a tasty flavor rather than an off-putting one when I have to medicate. Still, it does help the pain pretty quickly, without having overpowering side effects.
This is by far the most psychoactive strain I've ever had. I'm not sure if it was the euphoria, but each time I vaped it I got an almost immediate overwhelming cerebral burst. Unfortunately the peak doesn't last that long, but it really puts you in a different mindset. It was also great for getting things done. I vaped a little before doing some work on my computer and it made me hyper focused, where I was able to get through everything without getting distracted once. When you start to come down, you maintain a very heady, behind the eyes buzz that leaves you feeling uplifted, relaxed, and motivated. For being a straight sativa though, I didn't think it was racy or anxiety inducing at all, which is somewhat rare.
Aside from the effects, the taste and smell are also pretty unique. If you've ever smelled the strain, you probably know what I mean. It has this pungent lemon/pine smell and the taste is a strong licorice (anise) with a little earthiness that really comes through. Even if licorice doesn't sound good though, it's worth trying. I didn't think I liked it when I first tasted licorice in another strain, but it grew on me right away. This is definitely a must try strain for anyone who enjoys a nice sativa.
