Dutchberry reviews
I definitely consider this top shelf bud when grown by Artizen. This is a great Sativa hybrid plenty of energy and focus mixed in with a little overall body relaxation and some pressure behind the eyes. The buds look absolutely amazing they're dense and frosty to the extreme also quite sticky and resinous. It smells sweet and citrus and when a put some in a grinder it is extremely pungent and skunky (like really good weed should). Deffinetly more of a get out and get things done kinda strain not so much the kick back and watch some Netflix kind, still perfect for during the work week. This is an awesome strain that can usually be picked up for around 50 bucks with the prices the way they are right now this is a great deal if you're looking for a Sativa hybrid.
As a long standing, deep-rooted cannabis enthusiast I find myself looking for three things when purchasing bud: a Sativa-dominant Hybrid, a THC content of at least 20%, and a good recommendation. When my favourite budtender, Dave, at Greenside Recreational in Des Moines, WA recommended this hybrid that met all my requirements, I knew I had to try it.
Spoiler Alert: I was not disappointed.
Artizen Cannabis in Lacey, WA brings us this absolutely beautiful Sativa-dominant (60/40) strain called Dutchberry. With one of the highest cannabinoid contents on the market right now--at 27% THC and 8% CBD--it instantly had all my attention.
It looked irresistible in the little, sealed bag. The glistening THC crystals; the sweet smell of the nugs; that loud crunch when you break it open; a smooth, pleasant smoke through any piece. These are just a few things that contribute to what makes this such a flawless strain for my Sativa-Diva needs. It has a very berry and citrusy taste that keeps strong as you burn through the bowl. It is not a rouse when they say the taste is as good as the smell--and the smell is absolutely tantalising. It begs: Smoke me! And who am I to not oblige?
Dutchberry is my favourite strain to smoke and has been since I first smoked it months ago. It is a high-demand strain, however, and that can make it hard to find for purchase. If you can find it, snag it whilst you can! I cannot get enough of the smooth, intense high. A few hits and I am baked like a cake. With a high thc content, it does not take much to put you in a relaxed, sleepy state that feels more like the indica of the hybrid. Although, if smoked the right amount, it gives you that creative, productive high that I like from sativa strains.
With all the good of the Dutchberry, comes the one downside: It falls into a slightly higher price range per gram. Which, as a devoted stoner, that begins to add up. In spite of the price, everything about this hybrid is a dream. It is the perfect end to long, possibly stressful day and worth the extra bit spent. If you are a lover of sativa-hybrids like I am, you will not be dissatisfied.
I wasn't thinking it'd hit as nicely as it does, though its smells and tastes aren't truly unique to me.
I love the strain! When I can buy it, I buy as much as I can at that time. It’s my go to when I’m exhausted after a long hard week of working as a CNA. I get up, smoke a couple bowls with some coffee and immediately want to go do stuff. The disaster of my house is usually invisible to me but after this, I can see what I need to tackle and I am on it. For hours. I love the focus.
I usually ask my bud tenders to pick me out a sativa or sativa dominant strain they enjoy, and I've smoked dutchberry as a joint - but smoking a bowl in my chilled bong made a huuuge difference. My skin tingled for a few moments while a smiling, feel-good high set in. It was a chill out and jam to music kind of high, and I love it. A great strain and always well done by Artizen. Eased my muscle soreness and anxiety as well which was a bonus! I highly recommend trying dutchberry flower at least once.
My absolute favorite strain for making my day better. Effects are happy and VERY talkative without making me feel slow, sleepy, or paranoid (which is a major issue for me). Good for people with anxiety.
Perfect strain to smoke with a friend or if you want to deep clean your room. Felt like a warm buzz that made the couch extra welcoming
Each time I smoke this I tend to feel more focused and aware of sound, especially when it starts to take effect. Not a foggy high for sure, and don't feel baked over when it wears off. In addition to berries, I notice a subtle grape flavor as well.
