I am a huge fan of Indica’s and I love the calming relaxed euphoria feeling! I actually feel it right now as I write this after a nice J of it!

I love it.

As an epileptic, this is my favorite high THC Indica. Calming, hunger inducing, euphoria that actually sticks around for a bit. Works best with just a pull or two from my favorite piece every hour or so, for me.

First Time Trying. Euphoric - 6/10 Relaxed - 6/10 Happy - 4/10 Creative - 2/10 Sleepy - 4/10 Hungry - 6/10 Talkative - 3/10 Didn't really like GDP I suffer with Insomnia Crons Disease Degenrative Disk Disease 4 Slipped Disc 1 Buldging. I'm More into the Heavy Indica'sndue to my conditions. I HAVE YET FOUND A STRAIN TO KNOCK ME OFF TO SLEEP. ANY RECOMMENDATIONS PLEASE? I've tried Hundreds of strains... I tried Granddaddy Purple for the first time yesterday. I'd looked forward to trying it all week after reading these reviews. Seriously, I think I was MORE excited to try the strain than a kid looks forward to Christmas. The taste is so sweet. The smoke is thick and heavy with the sweet under taste. Nice! 5 minutes later....nothing. No effects whatsoever. 10 minutes in, my only effect was boredom. No! 15 minutes in, I decided I must have inhaled wrong or something. 17 minutes in, just as I was going to grab the bong for another go HELLO GRANDDADDY! To say I was stoned would be an understatement. I'm pretty sure my butt melded with the couch. I was pretty much capable of watching and re-watching trailers on On Demand. I wanted food. All the food. Thank God I was trapped by some unseen force and couldn't get off the couch. Granddaddy Purple was slow acting, but Negasonic level badass in it's punch. Tread carefully. This is definitely a nighttime strain. Unless your daytime gig involves watching the Deadpool trailer 19 times, you probably don't want to try this when you need to be productive. Pain is powerless against GP. So is nausea, anxiety, annoyance and insomnia. This strain would probably set you back to good after drinking 32 cups of coffee and getting hit by a bus.

A true medicinal strain. No matter how stressed out you are, even if you think, there is no way I am going to be able to calm down and relax, GDP will do the trick. You’ll gradually feel all of your worries and cares melt away. Powerful medicine; a little too heavy for me on a normal day, but when nothing else will do, it works miracles.

Super chill-out strain but be careful it definitely has a delayed kick, like others are saying. Wasn't too big a fan of the taste but I mean that's weed for yah'.

Pop The Top The Smell: Floral, fresh grass, a little sage like on the hits of citrus notes. The Bud: Pretty fat quarter nuggets, pretty frosty with purple under tucking green calyxes. Fox tailing purple bloom towards the rounded beveled top. Really fine and happy looking buds. Crackle! & Snap! Wow! These nugs like to show off how well they sound, just delightfully cured when you notice such nice AMSR break to your bud. The Vape: Super thick n rich as it leaks out the bag it looks like a brand new balloon in that bag thick white misty air floats in suspension as it waits to be consumed. It lingers around filling the air twirling on by, the air current takes it away The Taste: Wood, Earthy and pungent, want to watch out for these textures as the heavier the skunk the more "funk" you'll feel. The Effect: I am noticing a slowing down effect I am beginning to feel my forehead warm up. Music has more dynamics a crispier tube warmth comes to mind. A calming effect is washing over me. I for sure feel happier and relaxed; for right now I can breath clearly through my nose an interesting decongestion. Lights overhead have direct streams that are magnified by my eyelashes, when I look at the bulb for a brief second, no account of any linear light forms; I don't recommend looking into your light unless it is shaded. XD The Treatment: I have terrible depression, I no longer have that as of this moment. I use cannabis to treat my Anorexia, I love cooking and making food in–fact it was my major! If my cookies become satisfactory towards those who don't suffer from allergies you might see it on the shelf in the coming years. That's a fact! This makes me pay attention great for my ADHD. I love the power of this strain great for the late evening ! I would recommend this who suffer from pain, this pure indica can totally help you out with that. Unless you have opposing effects like for me indices give me energy and don't put me to sleep, I need a sativa to do that. I do notice the pain is gone; although pain can relate to sleep I just don't feel sleepy. Stress free zone, no heavy breathing for my Asthma, just ease. If you need a good understanding of what a solid indica feels like this is a goody even for rookies and those that have tried a lighter indica's want something smoother feeling I recommend Grandaddy Purple. -Have a chill day everyone!
