Granddaddy Purple reviews

Probably one of my all time favorite strands. I loved how it made me feel, and it tasted great. When smoking out of a bowl, it hits really hard and makes you cough a lot. It's a really strong strand and will get you baked off of a few hits.

OH GDP What to say that hasnt been said already? Not much Im sure, with the purple buds looking like a draped out dirty south pimp, dense nugs and bright orange pistils, Granddaddy Purp is truly a on lasting staple in the world. This flower has one of the more flavorful buds ive had, this one platinum delights and rare darkness #1, are so outstanding with a amazing sweet berry flavor. Truly something that is to remember. Really goes well with a grape blunt, I would recommended high hemp or twisted hemp. They are so good with showcasing this strains' true Beauty in flavor. Make sure you have some little Debbie cakes near by because you wont wont to get up for a bit.

The smell is extremely unique. Sweet and skunky like an older strain. The color is exceptional as well. As others have said, this is a creeper. Not as numbing as other indicas, I was able to function during the peak. However, an hour or so in and I had to sleep. I woke up refreshed and with that signature indica afterglow.

Had live resin cart from Cresco. Solid flavor as always. It's a heavy indica that makes me very sleepy. I would not suggest using it during the day, unless you want to spend the day asleep.

Really great strain for the end of the day, since it is a very heavy Indica. Will make you forget about everything that bothers you in life, that's why I don't smoke it during the day since I'd get absolutely nothing accomplished. I get a really relaxed feeling from it behind the eyes and in the back of my head. The rest of my body has a nice buzzing feeling, almost electrical. I got mine from an outdoor grow and it had been cured for 9 months. There was a slight hint of spiciness when broken open and no real taste when smoking. I guess there are 2 main GDP phenotypes and the one I got some from has very little smell or taste compared to the other pheno. Overall a nice buzz and perfect for dinner at home, a movie and then sleep for 10 hours. This would be too mush for most people to smoke during the day since you'll just feel like taking a nap all day. Good strong Indica, you will sleep really well and a lot with this strain. I had to smoke a strong Sativa in the mornings to get me going the day after smoking GDP since I just want to keep sleeping forever. So it crushes any sleep medication I've ever taken and is way better than any anti-anxiety med I've had. I can wake up in the middle of the night and smoke a small bowl then fall right back asleep.

By far one of my top picks for insomnia. I could drink 5 gallons of red bull and this strain could knock me back to sleep.

Relaxing. Euphoria. Just a ggod strain to kick back and relax. Smokes really smooth. ✌
