Been my solid strain for years. GDP is definitely an anti-anxiety strain for seasoned users. Perfect mind relaxation that smoothly transitions into euphoria with a strong body buzz. you may choose not to sleep, but it would be wise to succumb GDP’s amazing relaxation for a good nights sleep!

This strain is my favorite for falling asleep. I take a few hits and drift off into sleep. GDP relaxes the body and your mind at the same time making it a perfect nightcap.

The wife and I travel to Colorado every year and along with some great snowboarding we also get to sample some excellent weed. We had a few strains we wanted to sample over our two-week stay and Granddaddy Purple was the #1 strain on the list this year. I researched which dispensaries carried GDP and was dismayed there were so few. Fortunately the great folks at Botanico carried it. Naturally, they were our 1st stop upon driving into Denver. We picked up some GDP along with a gram of Alaskan Thunderfuck and a gram of Red Headed Stranger (wife's a redhead...) and were on our way to Winter Park for the 1st leg of our trip. I broke out the grinder and set to work on rolling up a tasty joint. You could smell the GDP throughout the room as soon as I started in on the task at hand. True to its nature, it had a very nice purple hue and the buds were dense as hell. It was a great looking strain as well...frosty, sticky and looked to be perfectly cured. We lit up and was impressed with the smooth pull. Tasty...old school flavor and the aroma was beautiful. The high was quick to hit and soon we were both grinning like crazy. We sat there BSing about the fun we planned on having on this trip when we both kind of looked at each other and asked..."are you feeling what I'm feeling?" and started busting up. We both remarked how we both felt an incredible body buzz which seemed to also make us both pretty aroused...TMI. Maybe it was the excellent place we were staying (hot tub in the room and fireplace roaring) or the fun of just being together on a long awaited trip (every January) or could it have been the GDP. We may never know but we do know we'll be enjoying some more GDP on this trip.

Awesome product, the smoke is very smooth not harsh at all. The smell is very aromatic and welcoming. Would recommend!

I don’t know where to start with the strain other than it’s now my favorite. I’ve noticed with some weed that many times after a while the flavor starts to get blended altogether however, with this strain Every hit tastes different. It gives such a pleasant high, and I haven’t experienced really bad cottonmouth yet.
