Like Grape App Gran Daddy Purple (GDP) is one of my go to Sleepy Time Indicas. It's got a great flavor profile, great body and head buzz, while helping you relax and unwind. Great for insomnia, anxiety, and just relaxing.

I love love this strain. For me for I can only speak how it affects me and my body. I suffer from anxiety and depression and rls and this strains helps my mood mellows out and makes me happy and calms my bouncing legs so I am able to sleep. So I enjoy smoking this strain around bed time. I highly recommend this strain and it’s in my top 10 favorite strains :).

As a medical cannabis patient this strain has been so helpful. It brings down my pain significantly, gets rid of all nausea, increases my appetite, and brings a nice full body heavy relaxed feeling. If I'm going to sleep it works well at quieting my mind and slowing my thoughts so I can ease into sleep. I really can't recommend this strain enough if you have pain or anxiety!

Got a cart of this strain from Trulieve in the sunshine state. Definitely feeling relaxed and couch locked. Definitely a nighttime thing. Helps to put me to sleep.

Finally had some at the dispensary. We can only get concentrates in Florida, but the flavor is incredible. Definitely one of my favorite Indica dominate strains. Very good for pain and insomnia has a nice balanced high that isn’t “too much” couch lock. Perfect late night strain.

First impression it wasn't as smelly right away. It's a dark dank nug that breaks up bigger than it looks. It's a smooth hit and the taste hits you as you're blowing it out. Very earthy taste at first but then it kinda seems fruity. I felt it immediately after the first hit, then a few minutes later I was flying. Happy, no pain, felt loving. Great smoke.

I just tried this strain for the first time, and I liked it a lot! It has a nice sweet berry smell to it. I think Leafly has it right, I experienced "cerebral euphoria and physical relaxation." GDP is much better than a lot of indicas, that just make me tired. Ultimately, I was pleasantly surprised by this stain and I'll definitely get it again!

it really reminds me of grape ape and purple Urkel because of the skunky,sticky sweet,grape flavor and aroma. When you smoke it, the taste is very "sticky grapey" like a grape air head candy with piney skunk and sweet roses. And as for the smell after the exhale it's very danky and sweet skunky smelling that literally will smell your house up for hours after even taking a few bong rips. Even the taste stays on your tongue even after you had the super munchies watching your favorite movie or tv show and drinking cold drinks lol the high is very relaxing,not overwhelming like some other indicas and makes you wanna lay down or sit on the couch and just chill out and let the stress and anxiety melt away while your day dreaming about random thoughts. This strain is perfect if you have insomnia,anxiety or ADHD and chronic pain. No paranoia or anxiety, just pure relaxation even if you're a super lightweight this is a good beginner strain for later in the day use, giving you a classic "Stoned" feeling and not the "high as a kite" energizing sativa feeling that can provoke mild anxiety in a small amount of people. That basically sums it up and I'd give this strain an 8 and a half out of 10 and only because it doesn't make me super creative as much as I'd like but helps all my symptoms melt away like butter. This is a must try if you need some relax time in your life or just to ease the pain.
