Granddaddy Purple reviews

I had been looking forward to trying Granddaddy Purple for a long time because of it's legendary status. When I had the opportunity to finally buy some, however, my experience was mixed. Is it potent? Hell, yes! It has a very heavy, relaxing high. Does it help with sleep? Enthusiastically, yes! These are all good things to me. But, I like staying up late, and that is damn near impossible on this stuff. Even using my Arizer Air, which is less hard hitting than smoking, I was completely decimated. If help going to sleep is your sole goal, then get GDP. If you want to eat every scrap of food in the house, get GDP. If you want to remain awake for any appreciable time after consumption, do NOT get GDP. A positive I'll note (for myself, at least) is that even when I over-consumed I didn't get paranoid like has happened on other strains. Overall, it's an excellent strain for relaxation and sleep.

Insomnia, anxiety, and pain are no match for this strain. It is also great for evening out your mood. GDP is an iconic delight that every indica lover should enjoy.

A definite creeper but provides a relatively strong body high. Very smooth when vaping with no coughing at all. Tasted slightly earthy but sweet too. Regarding flavor, the first thing that comes to my mind is a Tootsie Roll or a Cheeba Chew. Didn't feel much for the first 30 minutes or so and then BOOM, it really set in. Felt tingly and super relaxed. Relatively clear headed high and somewhat couch locked. Fell asleep about 2 hours in. Added to my favorites. Highly recommended.

If I could give this a 4.5 I would. This is really tremendous. My initial impression was that this was a really weak strain. That's only because my pen at the time was weak. I opened the wax and I just loaded it onto my segilei and I'm goners. But this also may be the most will enforcing couch lock I've ever had in my entire life. So that's why it gets the -.5.

I have horrible tendonitis in my shoulder...one puff pain gone hallelujah purple urkel..lol
