Wow just wow this strain really glues you to the couch definitely one of my favourite strains

Being diagnosed with chronic pain for several years, (along with depression, anxiety and insomnia) I was told that I should stick with Indica strains, so this was my introduction to Grandaddy Purple. I was excited to put all the claims to the test! Since I'm still new to the exploding world of cannabis, this was going to be my first experience since 1983. WOW!! How things have changed! After just one deep inhale and about 30 minutes later, I felt so relaxed, the stress and anxiety were completely absent from my body! My mind seemed to drift away slowly, it was like curling up on a cloud with your favorite blanket! For the first time in literally years, I slept a full 8 hours! I woke up refreshed and ready for my day! HUGE kudos to the designers of Granddaddy Purple!! I thank you from the bottom of my heart!!

Not a very strong strain and it made me super tired. Tasted pretty bad for a Select cartridge, too.

Takes a bit to set in, but when it hits, it HITS! Intense body high with pretty persistent munchies! Luckily it was used for Thanksgiving, so it was perfect!

Go to evening strain. Makes your eyes a bit heavy but not couch locked and still wanting to do something. Very nice, not too heavy.

Currently on my third One Hit of this stuff (the tiny metal pipe that comes in a dugout) and its about 20 min. in and i...am....TOTALLY RELAXED MAN. Got major anxiety issues and GDP just blocks it out. and who can match that flavor. I have to say its my new favorite strain next to Girl Scout Cookies.

Maybe it's just cuz I loved my Grandfather so much, or maybe it's cuz purple is my favorite color but I love this strain! Fruity like grapes with a little skunkiness and all your usual indica --wait, can you believe that Leafly doesn't have "indica" in their spell-check dictionary? Developers? Webmaster? There's a dark conspiracy here, spell check does not like this word indica. I love indicas almost as much as I love sativas! Actually I love both of them, I ain't too picky--just hook me up to an IV with a slow THC drip and I do just fine. No, seriously Granddaddy P is the bee's knees, I have Purple Trainwreck in my mommy room--but the name sucks, it's like Prince and Lindsay Lohan had a baby.

So, I had a visit with Nathan at The GreenHouse in Glendale, AZ. He was a plethora of information after I explained my list of symptoms. He introduced me to Gdp (purchased a pre-roll). That same night, i took one hit...ONE (because I'm a newbie), after 25 minutes, I drifted off like I was floating on a cloud, I felt sleepy and COMPLETELY relaxed.....best of all, I slept a full 8 hrs for the first time in years!
