Granddaddy Purple reviews
Read people’s experiences with the cannabis strain Granddaddy Purple.
I got the more green pheno. It is more in the head than the body. Very nice buds, you can clearly see the Big Bud genetics. Really nice orange hairs and a hint of purple in there scattered about. Tastes great vaped out of my Aerizer Extreme Q!
I imagine the darker, heavy purple stuff has more body hit to it so Im keeping my eye out, since I am searching for a really heavy THC/CBD strain - a real body/head monster.
While it is mainly cerebral from this pheno, the small body buzz hits me right in the temples and down my jaw, with a little neck relief, but does not do much for my shoulder and back pain. Its still heavy and mellow, I can do stuff on it, I think because of my tolerance, but if I am even a little tired it is going to coax me into sleep. Its a little trippy too if you hit it a good couple times - never overwhelming though. No real couch-lock but stony.
Mix it with some Sour Diesel on Saturday morning right before a gaming session, or at night before a jam session for a great experience.
Fucking awesome bedtime strain.

I think it was a very good strain. after a few hits of a blunt and a gravity bong hit, I could barely stand up. I had munchies for a bit also.
GDP is one of the few indicas I can take. Most are too heavy for my liking. This strain gives me a nice relaxed tingly buzz that lulls me into sleep. Not quite the deep body high of other indicas, but in general I like the GDP relaxing and calming effects much better than the stoney feeling. The bud is deep purple with a crazy amount of crystals. It's got a berry-like aroma with a sweet but earthy taste. Great for stress relief, pain, and insomnia. A staple in my medicine cabinet

My favorite night time strain. It's like no other strain, tbh, bc like it's not an instant high. It's very gradual Five minutes in and you're not even high...give it ten and you're way higher than you thought you'd be. And it's super couch locking. Your mind feels at ease and your body feels like it's floating in the clouds. It gets you really hungry, and it's great for pain.
This one time I decided to get drunk and high and go to a party like that and it was the dumbest idea ever. I closed the car door on my thumb and I wasn't even sure if it was hurting or not. And I basically fell asleep while everyone else was like partying. It's definitely more of a stay-in-bed kind of strain. Never smoke it before going to a party unless you intend on sleeping through it.
