Granddaddy Purple reviews

Second time is the charm for this strain. Smoked a massive bowl using a bubbler, was smooth af. Nice taste, felt lovely. I took this to sleep and I was out for hours in deep sleep. Feel totally rejuvenated this morning. Mad respect to this strain, I get it now. Highly recommend.

For a $10 a g bud, I give this a 5 star hands down. If it cost $15, I'd still give it at least 4 stars. I'm for sure going to be coming back to this strain! Firstly, it wasn't as purple in appearance as I expected. The flower did look nice; symmetrical, nicely trimmed, a few hairs, a few crystals, and a nice forest green color. It ground up nicely. Once it was ground up, I could see sprinkles of nice deep purple flakes here and there. The smell of the bud was nice; nothing very unique. However, the flavor when you smoke it is awesome! I've tried another bud called "Black Berry". That bud was super purple in appearance. That bud had a district flavor. "Granddaddy Purple" also had that flavor. I've come to the conclusion that's just what purple bud tastes like. But between those two buds, "Granddaddy Purple" wins hands down. This is a great indica. I smoke it before bed usually. Right after you smoke it, it just tranquilized your whole body. It's a very relaxing couch lock high. Perfect to end the day with. Smokes nice and smooth. Even one small bowl is enough for me to feel the tranquilizing effects. Totally love it.

this is my second review on this strain and I have to say that it is my favorite strain for night time. I am really not a huge fan of most indicas, I prefer sativas, but granddaddy purple is the best indica I have ever had and I can't get enough of it. the smell of the buds are very fruity and berryish, the vapor tastes earthy with a hint of sweetness. the high is quite euphoric with a mild couchlock feeling and comes on quite quickly. after an hour or 2 the couchlock feeling gets more intense while the euphoria slowly drifts off and your eyelids become very very heavy and you slowly drift off to sleep. I can't recommend GDP enough. if your are not a huge fan of indicas but you want to try one for sleep than look for GDP and give it a try.

I smoke a bit of this before bed, and me normally bouncing off the walls at the thought of sleeping, can actually reliably sleep now and not move. A++ Indica ~

Very very smooth and relaxing

I'm from Mexico and the only strain that I've tasted before was AK47 so this Granddaddy Purple was such a pleasant surprise. Doesn't has a very distinctive flavor, slightly sweet like berry. But don't take this lightly, be careful she is strong, instantly will hit you. After smoking it, you will feel very creative and relaxed. I strongly recommend to smoke after work or in a very stressful day. I do not recommend smoking it if you have to perform complex tasks. I smoked this with my wife and drove us to a lovely state of mind and soul, she couldn't stop laughing. Also you will feel how you disconnect from reality and will live in your own bubble. Definitely one of my favorites. Vengo de México y es la primera vez que experimento con este tipo. No tiene un sabor muy caracteristico, ligeramente dulce. Pero no te dejes engañar, después de un toquete y vas a estar en otro estado. Aumenta la creatividad y es muy relajante. Lo recomiendo para fumar después del trabajo o en un día muy estresante. No lo recomiendo si tienes que hacer tareas complejas. Yo lo fumo con mi esposa y nos lleva a un estado de ternura. Definitivamente una de mis favoritas para pasar un buen rato, mi esposa no paraba de reir. Además no necesitas fumar una gran cantidad, con un toque basta para ponerte hasta la verga.
