Granddaddy Purple reviews

This is a strange one. First of all, the smoke is incredibly smooth. The high creeps up on me, so it's easy to overindulge. I was hoping this would knock me out, but it doesn't really do that in normal doses. I have to smoke a ridiculous amount and then push through the emotions this stirs up before I can sleep. I become intently focused on sadness and regret, and I generally end up crying. I bought an ounce of this strain, Red Mountain brand. The results I'm reporting don't seem typical, so I'd like to try this again at some point, but from a different grower. If I have a different result, I will update.

Very mellowing and calm high. I never felt more relaxed after smoking it. The smell and the taste of it is so divine. It tastes as if it came from a sweet but fruity flavor.

My favorite Indica of all time. Takes me right where I want to go.

The GDP had me loaded as a fuckin' set of fake dice. Holy shit. What the fuck. I probably had far too much a dose for my tolerance. Had an out of body experience then I passed the fuck out, woke up and did it again. Jesus Christ. I still have some left. Probably going to take it easy next time. GDP overall experience: B+

Great strain, even on my Pax 2. I picked this up for $30 an eighth but after grinding all the herb out, it's safe to say that about half of the mass was kief. Layering kief in between herb in my Pax was very, very effective. These hits had me feeling paranoid for a while but I only took 8 hits and it was enough for me. Didn't give me couch lock, but did make me tired. DO NOT try this strain if you have errands to run later into the day because you WILL NOT want to do it while tired. There was a nice head high for the first 30 min - 45 min of the high, nothing particularly special, however the high lasted a while, especially for an Indica. Buds were dry and dense, however not loud which generally sways me away from strains. However, it was still a great strain. The strain is very relaxing, as much as I enjoy a nice euphoric sativa. I remember having a serious migraine and after taking around 5 hits, it completely disappeared. Be careful when consuming because it might leave you burnt out the next day. Overall, good strain. I would rate a 3.5/5, but I can't so I rounded up.

GDP was one of my first strains and definitely one of my favs. This will have you on couch lock. Recommend this when you have nothing to do, because you will get nothing done if you smoke this strain
