Granddaddy Purple reviews

One of my favorite strains, it’s very relaxing and you just stay relaxed the whole time with 0 paranoia

I bought a quarter of this strain by the company Strane at Sunnyside Penn Ave. in Pittsburgh PA. Buds are purple and loaded with trichomes. I love how another reviewer compared this to GSC, but being more medical than recreational. Spot on with that comparison in my opinion. GDP is euphoric and extremely relaxing. It came in at 17.91% First time I had this strain was buying on the black market back in early 2010’s. It stands up to the rest of time.

Smell: Very pungent rooted, from the dirt, fresh cut greenery. Reminds me a tad of fresh cut grass with a little earth, maybe a hint of pepper. 3/5 Touch: Cured just about a few days short it felt. Flower is very nuggy and medium to large sized. Thick density but spongy, breaks down into smaller, organized nuggies with little stick to your fingers. Probably works best in a glass piece unless you want to sift or grind for a J or spliff. 4/5 Raw Taste: Soft, unknowingly sweet of piney, sap filled terps, earthy in the best way. Trichomes and pistols hug the senses. 4/5 Smoke: Lights up with no issues, since it breaks down in ballish nugs, it takes longer to grind or sift but is worth the time for a Raw cone. Medium thick, though light enough to control well. Dont take advantage of its good nature however, it WILL make you cough. 4/5 Taste: Straight piney, old school afghany palate feeling on the tongue. Sweet peppery earth with subtle hints of sweet pockets of sugar and berry surprise you often. Over smoking causes dry mouth, have a glass of your favorite thirst quencher handy. 4/5 High: Very heady at first, then it holds in your chest for a little bit, then you realize it's taking hostage any back or joint pain you might have. Slight, but very positive dazy feeling. Absolutely NO PARANOIA, this is the bud that makes your body feel like a La Z Boy and its a good thing. The hybrid part of it makes the Sativa kick in and keep you relatively productive if you wish. Very delicious, delicate at first, then heavy high. 5/5 Overall: This is my go to night timer Indica. The no paranoia with little heavy chest. Flattens any and all pain, and keeps you moving if you want, but you could veg out and mow through some healthy or junkie food, whatever is your thing. Food palate WILL BE amplified. Just a fantastic, beautiful medicine. It WILL always be in my rotating stock. 5/5

Usually weed triggers my anxiety and panic attacks so I had stopped smoking for a while, then I made a bunch of research and found this strain and since the first time I’ve smoked my anxiety had never been triggered actually the opposite! This weed is helping me so much in a period of high stress and insomnia. I sleep better, I feel calmer and happier! Oh and it tastes great too!

For me the sweet taste and relaxing effects, make it a good choice for those looking for a chill and mellow experience.

the flavor is off putting in a really weird way? a little bit of grape but also like melting plastic or something. makes me sleepy but the aftertaste isn’t too bad.

My favorite go-to for insomnia. It softly rocks me to sleep and no negative effects.
