Granddaddy Purple reviews

This strain definitely stands out to me. I semi-rarely see strong, indica-only, strains where I live; usually there's a flood of stativas and hybrids. I always can tell when I get a good indica-only strain or indica-dominant strain. This strain is very potent and strong. It has very minimal leaves and much more bud. The pungent smell is true to that of Granddaddy Purple. Beware, as for me and I assume for others, that the effect comes on more slowly and calmly than that of other strains I have, till eventually, it finally hits you. This strain is perfect for night time as the strain makes many want to sleep shortly after medicating. I've found that this strain can be quite amazing during the day as well. If you can make it over the sleepy-ness-hump, then it's actually quite a nice, relaxing day-time strain. Great for reducing social anxiety and/or shyness. The buds are quite dense but at the same time are lighter weight, with a dense appearance. I have around 4 grams of this amazing strain left and it will not disappoint. (Mixed Granddaddy Purple with a [~ 50-Stativa/50-Indica. Hybrid] for a great morning solution to get through the morning to later mid-day. Making it a [~ 25-Stativa/75-Indica. GDP + Lemon Haze Hybrid])

Excellent terpene profile. This is a true treat for the palet, fruity but yet earthy taste. A total medicated feeling, touches every base... As in couch lock but still want to do stuff but can't seem to make it past just talking about it...

I like it! but smoke too much and it'll put you on your ass. definitely great for before bedtime

All I can say is wow. Top 3 Indica"s. So fucking nice!!!

This is not going to be a final review on this strain... but a pre-review. A friend down in Santa Fe got a GDP seed, and initially thought it was developing into a female. We were going to take some clones, since I grow totally legally in Colorado, and we'd have a great new line to enjoy and offer friends. The plant ended up male. Instead of pulling it, I suggested isolation and keeping some flowers and pollen to cross with some of the strains I grow up here. I have the pollen, and am crossing it with White Widow, and less than favorite to grow (see review) OG Kush to start. I might do a branch of my favorite Sour Diesel (originally SFV, now SLV) to see what it does. Been keeping fave ChemDawg as is, but maybe a cross...? I'll update as things develop.

I enjoyed the nice flavor but I expected more of a sedated feeling. This was an indica that also gave me a very spacey, deep minded high. I was able to be mildly functional while using GDP but the comedown would knock me out, it was great for the evening wind down.

Great strain, a little harsh on the the exhale but not to bad, I smoked this while sitting outside and let me tell you it was the most terrifying thing I ever did, I could hear everything the neighbors kids playing outside, a dog barking 4 houses down, the airplanes that where flying above, I heard it all at once it was terrifying I swore the world was about to explode, and then I came down really fast and wrote this review
