Such an awesome high, top favorite.

This strain was some pretty strong stuff! Not the strongest I've ever had, but close to it. G.D.P. had a nice long lasting buzz with lots of thoughts whirling through my head. It did make me a little sleepy, and the body warmth helped my fatigue, but my head was nice and busy but numbed with the effects of this Indica. It also definitely gave me serious munchies. All in all, I think this was one of those perfect strains to kick back and relax, eat some snacks, and watch a good thought provoking movie, or read a like book. I would love to have this strain again.

I have never not liked Granddaddy purp. it has to be one of my absolute favorite strains so far that I've tried. Positive: I always get a good calm high, it ALWAYS helps me with my insomnia no matter how much or how little I smoke, it also allows me to wake up refreshed the next morning. It helps calm my anxiety, and helps lift my mood from being down. I can go from being completely silent and calm to laughing and having a happier mood. Sex or any intimate touching is amazing on this strain! The high also usually lasts a little longer than other strains I have tried. Whenever I find out someone has this strain and I can get, I almost act like an addict every time, can't wait to get my hands on it and smoke it (haha), great strain all around. Negative: On this strain I almost always get stuck to my bed though, unless I'm getting up to get munchies, this strain is almost guaranteed every time to give me the munchies. But these are really the only two things I'm not a huge fan of with this strain, and they're not even that big a deal at all.

It's was alright the first 5 times but after awhile you don't feel the body high anymore

I'll start off by saying that I am not a fan of most Indica strains. It's not that I think they are "bad", but I find that Sativas help me more as an individual. That being said, while every marijuana strain is different and unique, Grandaddy Purple was easily the most unique Indica strain I've ever smoked. The high comes up very quickly with this strain and gets you very stoned, very quick. But after about 20 minutes, the high will decrease in intensity just SLIGHTLY, and remain there for another hour and a half. It has been roughly 15 hours since I last smoked this and I can still "feel" it in my system. I'm not high anymore, but I can definitely feel the lasting relaxation this strain has given me. While giving you the typical "couch lock" stoned feeling that high end Indica strains usually give, I didn't feel completely incapable of functioning. Most high end Indica strains tend to get me so high that I can't move, but this strain got me very high while still letting me retain the ability to function and do things IF I had to. That being said, I wouldn't ever smoke this with the intent of doing something very involved later in the day. While I could still function if I wanted to, this is still an Indica, and I would rather spend this high watching a movie or just chilling with friends. The taste was one of the most pleasant parts. It was very fresh and full, while also having that "purple" taste that can only be appreciated by people who have smoked it. It doesn't taste like grape. It tastes purple.(How is that for a high description?) Overall, I'm more happy with this strain than I thought I would be. It does not take much of this pot to get one extremely high, so it was very much worth all of the cash I paid for it. Definitely the best Indica strain that I have had and I recommend it highly for any Indica partaker.
