no offense everyone but im n tx and seen gdp all my life its not all that potent. infact if yoi ever get a chance try grape ape. the high is much more intense and sedating..

Got me a quarter of Granddaddy Purp. The smell of the strain is a nice fruity type smell with that hint of a kush type strain smell too. It takes a couple hits to get high off it but after you're high, then that's where the fun is! The high is pretty great at the beggining and it makes you very uplifted and euphoric but after the high dies down, it makes you sleepy and lazy. So make sure you smoke more after the high is down so it doesn't leave you stuck to the couch.

Overall a great strain for pain relief and muscle relaxation. Beautiful appearance with deep purple buds and lovely orange hairs. If you ever get the chance don't pass up the GDP.

I smoked this twice today so far. It had a nice body high that didn't render me useless. Great for taking a late afternoon stroll. I wasn't able to focus long on anything at all except for conversation. This really did get us all talking incessantly. By the third bowl, it took us forever to cash it because everyone would stop to talk. I was starving not long after I sampled GDP, but I also hadn't eaten all day at that point. After we ate, I started getting feelings of nostalgia that I often get with great bud. With this also came some sort of emotional connection to music more so than usual. The second session was similar with the focus in conversation and laughter. I was more into reading this time, but it was a change in scenery. The emotional and nostalgia returned and so did my apetite. I would definitely seek out this buddha for a day around the house reading and watching the tube. My favorite Indica.

GDP is a classic example of perfection! Heavy high I always feel relaxed and the way I need to. Definitely a smoke n nap kinda flower.

I consider this to be my standard indica strain, next to Blue Dream being my standard hybrid, and whenever I choose to buy it, I know I'm getting a good deal more or less. Turn on some Hendrix and just sit in the backyard, blessing the air with some sweet smoke, shieeeet......
