very strong all around great strain. puts you down to sleep quick though!.. not a good idea to use this for wake ad bake unless you like sleepiness. good pain relief i believe.

Ah, GDP, how I love you. You help me sleep soundly at night, you're delicious, and you make me feel fantastic. The aroma is that of grapes and hash, delicious. The aroma transitions to flavor decently, and is always one of my favorite smokes. The high is warm, with a heavy body buzz, and some tingling as well, but it tapers off into a deep slumber. Great for insomniacs such as myself. Also provides good pain relief.

Northern Cali!! Home of the purps, and u gotta taste it to believe it. It actually tastes like PURPLE!! The buzz is a great all purpose one. The volcano is great for this. Keep layering new bud on top each succesive bag and you'll end up with a 3rd bag full of candy purple goodness

Cannot focus and lazy.

This strain gave me a mellow but very lazy high. It made me feel warm and cozy, and numbed my pain down - but didn't remove it.

Nice and medicinal, usually not too much THC with a great fruity flavor, followed by a musty funk

Took my first hits on a bong with this and it was amazing. Not sure how much of that was the bong and how much was the strain but really really nice, an instant favourite. Lasted for hours and hours too.

Granddaddy Purp is has a heavy, relaxed effect on me. It's a great strain when I need to wind down and just relax and chill in the back yard, on the sofa, or in bed after a long week of heavy work. Sometimes I suffer from insomnia from too much brain activity, and Gdp is a much better alternative to any other type of sleep aid. There is definitely a muscle-relaxant effect on me as well
