I have been looking to try some GDP for eons. Finally got hold of some in a vape. Ripped the vape and about 5-8 minutes in, GDP had me super high. it came on like a truck too. 0 to stoned with no come up! This is an indica type strain at its FINEST. Super sedating and chill. For me, touch was super amplified and I couldn't keep my hands from stroking my dudes hair (which is not something I usually do) of course this lead to other things, which had me all kinds of pleasured. This is, by far, my favorite chill strain ever. I will endeavor to always have it near me. The back end had me super sleepy and I got a solid 7 hours which does not happen in my world. it took every ounce of pain away and I felt clear and relaxed the next morning. Enjoy y'all! This strain is Fire!

Gdp is one of my favorite evening strains I've had thus far. If you have trouble falling asleep, this strain is for you. The onset is very gentle and slowly builds to the point you just want to sit or lay down. Once doing so, you really start to feel the physical effects: a tingly, relaxed, pain-free, numbness throughout your entire body. I currently feel no symptoms of the Crohn's flair up I've been dealing with lately and imagine this strain works well for other digestive issues. Gdp is one of the most effective strains for pain I've used. Mentally, I am very happy and content. Senses seem to be hightened, especially touch and feel. My mind was a little cloudy at the peak, but otherwise pretty clear. It has calmed me down and minimized any racing thoughts. Helps with symptoms of depression and anxiety. Gdp has a very unique, but fascinating taste and smell. I didn't know it was possible to taste grape, earthy gasoline, but here we are. It's very pungent if you're trying to keep your smoke sesh on the down-low. Purchased pre-rolls from BeWell in Merrimac, MA. I will absolutely buy this strain again.

I’m 55 and never tried marijuana before. I have fibromyalgia, so I went into the dispensary and spent 90 minutes with a budtender and came away with a headache and Grandaddy Purple, to help with pain and sleep. The first 3 times I tried it, using a one-hitter, I was awkward and was scared to inhale. No effects. I did sleep well though. The 4th time, I got confused about when to inhale (forgive me, this is so new to me), and gave a sharp, deep inhale. I coughed so much I almost threw up. The second time I lit, I inhaled so hard I actually swallowed the little burning ball at the end of the chillum. I was so mad I couldn’t get this right. The next thing I know is I kept rewinding my tv show on my phone because I kept missing the scene. I watched 2 houseflies move slowly above my head. I started to feel odd pains in my body, but kept telling myself not to get paranoid. I talked to myself endlessly and giggled a lot. My dogs looked worried. Although I stayed rooted to my spot on my bed, it was definitely more of a cerebral high. I couldn’t stop talking (to myself!). 3 hours later I started to come down and then still couldn’t fall asleep, which was the reason I got this strain. I remember the smell of weed on people in high school and it stunk. This strain has a lovely scent, not skunky or pungent. This smoke is strong but is pleasant. I think I need to try a different method of delivery, as well as a different strain, if I just want to fall asleep. I’m thinking of trying a dry herb vaporizer, so the smoke isn’t as burning hot? That’s the only thing that really bothers me about the one-hitter. At least I finally know what being high is all about! As compared to getting drunk, weed is a happy high, while drunk is just sad. I would not ever mix alcohol with this though.

As a chronic pain patient/depression& anxiety. This is my favorite heavy indica strain out of all I’ve tried. I get this in oil, a vape cart from District Cannabis found in the DC/Maryland area. It’s a masterpiece!!! In my top 2 strains ever. I can lay in bed and let thoughts pass through me. Meditation my man. I can use it to sleep. I can use it to just calm down. I can use it to be happy. In my opinion, every med patient should have this in their cabinet.

Granddaddy Purple is the best — second I’d say is Tahoe OG and Northern Lights a close third — strain for getting a restful night’s sleep. GDP relaxes me, in a-melting-my-anxiety-away sort of sensation. I become hyper away of my surroundings, in an insightful not terrifyingly paranoid way. My senses are sharper, but not in a flight-or-fight sort of panicky way. You cannot go wrong with hitting GDP — especially after a hot shower (moisturize afterwards) — and dimly lit, cooled rooms. Try journaling once the high kicks in, the words just flow (coherently) onto the page (or into the device). This word-dump adds to your mind becoming freer and clearer after GDP grips (more like caresses) your brain. Lastly, Consider Obama Kush as a early evening strain (as a chaser to GDP) right after dinner. Then in 2-3 hours, hit that GDP as a nightcap. Your body soothingly winds down for bed, almost as if it’s program by GDP to do so. 🥰
