First and foremost, Harlequin is a purely medicinal strain, so if you're wondering why you aren't getting high it's because there ain't no THC in them nugs. Now, for those of us who happen to enjoy high CBD to THC and have a little more feel for the highly complex interaction between these two principle cannabinoids and their effect on our personal endocannabinoid system – gotta say, Harlequin is pretty rad! While sharing subtle similarities, it is also much different than something like Cannatonic. Last night I had a full Arizer Air bowl of pure Harlequin turned to the 2'nd level heat setting of 374 degrees and noticed the muscle relaxation effects kick in almost immediately. Although, I will admit that knowing that I wouldn't get high whatsoever and not having a problem with that because I wasn't really in a getting-high kind of mood I started to feel bummed that I wasn't feeling high about halfway through the bowl. So, just now I mixed a half-and-half bowl of Harlequin and White Dawg and it was a whole different and very awesome experience culminating in the best of both worlds, high CDB - and high THC ratio! seriously, check out these test results from the labels on the bottles. Harlequin (Native Roots Edgewater): CBDA: 7.4% - 8.9% THCA: 4.43% -5.02% THC: 3.95% - 4.52% White Dawg (Lightshade 6'th Avenue): THC: 0.56% THCA: 29.11% CBDA 0.94% It is cool to feel how the high CBD has a regulatory checks and balances effect on THC. One minute you feel high, then the next you feel relaxed and completely sober; but still kinda high, but not high. It's a stoner's version of Schrodinger's cat, paradoxically you feel both high and not high. Oddly enough I'd say that the THC has the better general anesthetic properties while the CBD has the better muscle relaxant effects and that you notice with a strong Indica. Typically something like White Dawg leans towards the kind of awesome paranoid/racey/spacey/creative kind of high that people can find unpleasant. With the inclusion of Harlequin this mystical effect was almost completely blocked in favor of a completely lucid sober yet still relaxed and stoned sensation of the White Dawg subtly below the surface. What has sold me on the high CBD strains recently is for the past few years I've dealt with TMJ issues from getting socked in the jaw during various forms of MMA training, snowboarding, and longboarding; plus a whole long list of sports injuries going back to childhood. Long story short, sports beat the hell out of you and eventually you have a long list of kick-ass injuries. This is where high CBD strains happen to shine; old, nagging injuries tend to leave you in a state of constant tension and muscle guarding to avoid new injuries. CBD allows you to relax and let your muscles recuperate for a deliberately planned rest day and not another impromptu trail run or workout sesh.

This review is for CRESCO FLOWER HARLEQUIN, about a 5:2 HIGH CBD make this Flower a perfect strain and at decent amounts. The other review on Harlequin was for the Vape Cartridge. I CAN NOT STRESS enough how YOU MUST get a variable temperature Vaporizer..I have a desk top unit and it allows me to dial in the right temps. what I mean by that is TEROENES! CANNABINOIDS, All burn at different temps....sometimes as much as 60* difference soI look up the strain....n work my way from the low temp to the higher. So right now I loaded the bowl n am enjoying the smell which is like wild berry! Very nice thick dense buds...a very small nugget will be plenty for a 10 hint session. So while typing that I did a session n immediately I got the Harlequin clear head...power nap type feeling? Pain is at bay n may be down for the night after that. A very smooth thick vape with a surprising good flavor. Being a great medicine..... with something Iike this already giving me CBD n some THC....I would do a bowl of THE WIFE at 18% CBD n mix it with a HIGH THC flower like Northern Lights giving me a full entourage of Terpenes, Cannabinoids..... Once u get a regiment like this...that will work for u....stick with it....try to maiximize the CBD n THC u use medically...u will be surprised how much $$$$$ can be saved using a Vaporizer, getting maximum CBD when ya can...through a concentrate or tincture. I bought 1/4 oz today and will go get the other 3/4 tomorrow. CRESCO and TERRA VIDA really came through for patients between THE WIFE,HARLEQUIN,AC/DC, Z7 and other HIGH CBD flower n vape n other products.....All I can tell you is don’t give up , keep trying different strains and doing research... NOTHING works for everybody....so do what’s best for you. Start that day with some CBD. Preferably a 1:1 mix..,then a light sativa with CBD during the day..... As the day comes to an end lighten up on the CBD possibly start hitting an Indica....CBD after 6 pm may affect your sleep. So now time for a nice couch melting INDICA!

I am 20 and have been dealing with severe headaches, migraines, dizziness depression, anxiety, PTSD, and more for 3 and a half years. I have been unable to do anything, I even need a cane to walk. I have tried dozens of prescription drugs (that I hate), a few different types of injections directly into my skull, four different types of PT, five different neurologists, two chiropractors, acupuncture, home remedies, and I’m still probably forgetting things I’ve tried. After years of suffering, going from a very busy athlete to unable to walk, I’ve developed very bad suicidal thoughts, especially after my girlfriend of 4 years left me without a word. I have never drank, smoked, or done any type of drugs before trying mmj. The first strain I used for vaping was Harlequin, and it has made a world of difference. Tinctures and pills help with body pain, but not so much for my head, but vaping takes away almost all of my physical pain, makes me much happier, gives me hope for my future instead of feeling suicidal, and relaxes me. I haven’t felt relief like this for 3 1/2 years. I was hesitant to try mmj, but it has helped far more than those horrible prescription drugs. For anyone else new to mmj that struggles with headaches or migraines, try strains that have a good amount of CBD, such as this one, Pina Rita (happiness boost), and Bubba Kush (for sleep). Harlequin gives me more energy, makes me feel relaxed, takes away most pain, allows me to do a bit more around the house, and just improves life 200%. This is the only medicine, besides vitamin supplements, that I use now. I am off of one Effexor and am weening off my antidepressant now. This strain has helped so much with my pain, if not obvious, I highly recommend this to anyone using this as medicine, not to get high.

Let me start off by saying that I have been terrified of smoking weed for like 10 years now. I had some really bad experiences and have a serious anxiety disorder. I have been avoiding weed and have been sad about it for a long time. Rec weed became legal in my state yesterday and I decided to go buy a gram just for funsies. Even though I don't smoke, I know a little bit. I bought some Harlequin because I knew it was high CBD and known for body feel rather than head high - it was a fantastic choice. If you are scared of pot - smoke this weed. I've smoked half a joint to myself and feel completely fine. I have lots of chronic pain, PTSD, and anxiety, and this strain has been fabulous. Pot has come a long way in 10 years! I even smoked when I woke up in the morning and was able to function all day long. I made the mistake of going to Target and spent too much money on socks and candy, but that's beside point. This strain tastes great, helps with pain, seriously reduces my anxiety, and I've experienced no negative side effects. I am blown away by how great this has worked out for me. I highly recommend Harlequin for anxiety and for people looking into getting into smoking or getting back into it. I love this strain and I'm going to pick up some more tomorrow.......all hail Harlequin! I CANNOT STRESS ENOUGH - this is a great intro to pot or to someone with an anxiety disorder. If I can use this, so can you!

This strain is absolutely a game changer. I have periods of time where I feel like I just need some relief from either physical or emotional pain and I like to use cannabis to handle that. The problem is that I can accidentally get too high and ultimately become unproductive and sluggish, increasingly so if I use pot for a few evenings in a row. The 15-20% THC strains I usually use can also result in a "smokeover" from time to time where I have a migraine all day the next day and sometimes yack if it gets bad. Discovering Harlequin recently has changed that. It is a strain that I could smoke a little or a lot and be totally fine. Never too high and constantly at physical and emotional ease. I also wake up feeling fine if not great every morning, it often feels like the relaxed effects of the CBD have carried over into the morning hours. This strain is fantastic if you are looking for some relief, it's fantastic for daily use and I would recommend it to anybody who is frightened by weed but curious to try it. I think if you kept it at a half gram or less, you will have a good time but still have your bearings. The effects I felt were reduced inflamation (nasal congestion and muscle tension relieved), relaxation without being knocked out (though you very well COULD pass out depending on tolerance and dosage), and I experience a high in which I am still completely functional

I’ve been avoiding bud since I had to stop smoking in order to keep my CDL Drivers License in 1992. If it wasn’t a great Teamster job I probably would have just switched jobs, but trying to time the “Drug testing van” became too stressful. Now that I’m retired and disabled, I tried smoking again but the weed nowadays is so much stronger than back then from 1972-1992, I got so paranoid that I hated it. That is until I found HARLEQUIN! I smoked a half a J after starting out with one hit. It was like I was teleported back to 1978 and in HS. This strain is the ONLY strain I can say with 100% certainty will bring us older beings that had given up hope of that dream of retiring, kicking back and getting high. I’m in Heaven while still on earth…Thank you God for making my dream retirement years come true. Take my word for it to people like me…..Go for it. You will love it with no regrets!!!

Ultra low THC strains have changed my life. Harlequin is right up near the top for me in both effect and taste. I used to smoke a LOT. Then I became a parent and gave it up for a long time. Upon trying it again I found myself totally unable to cope with the crippling paranoia and anxiety. So I said goodbye to weed again, somewhat bummed out but at peace with my decision. Then one day getting ready to leave for Church I sneezed so hard that I slipped a disc in my lower back. That set in motion a course of events that led me to seek out any kind of weed that would be weak enough for me to measure dosage carefully and avoid crippling paranoia and remorse. I had never heard of CBD. All I knew was that I needed a strain of super weak weed that would allow me to carefully titrate my dosage. I first tried Cashey's Honey. That was really good. It's awfully hard to find. Then I tried Harley-Tsu. That was much better... but the musky Indica side from the Sour Tsunami parentage bothered me aesthetically. I've never been into Indicas. Then I tried two strains that I rank right up there with the Cashey's Honey: Lion's Quibit and Harlequin. No surprise that these three are the most Sativa dominant CBD strains that are widely available. What I love about Harlequin is just how unbelievably stable its CBD:THC ratio is. For someone who has to carefully measure their dosage to avoid paranoia, the confidence in the stability of the strain's strength is one of the biggest selling points a strain can have. 5:2 does occasionally result in a slightly stronger dose than I'd like, and the nugs are structurally a little tighter than I prefer, since I'm a joint guy and don't use a grinder. But those are very minor gripes. I will be using Harlequin as a breeding parent in my quest to nail down a stable low THC sativa. Absolutely recommend it to anyone looking to enjoy good old school pot without too much intoxication.

I never smoke weed because it gives me crippling anxiety, especially in social settings. But this stuff is the bees knees. I’ve never smoked a strain like this before. Still gets you stoned, but no anxiety or paranoia whatsoever and that’s saying something coming from me. Total functional mild high, great for just chilling and great for doing misc tasks. Makes me talkative, energetic, happy, giggly, but also laid back, relaxed and focused if I need to be. Weed gives my boyfriend anxiety sometimes too, but we smoked Harlequin together on the weekend together and we absolutely loved it. I’d give this stuff more than five stars if I could.
