Island Sweet Skunk reviews
Read people’s experiences with the cannabis strain Island Sweet Skunk.
Well-cured 1/4 from a private grow. Maybe the best pure example of the strain that I've had my hands on.
Strong smell before and after combustion.
Strong flavor of hash and bright fuel. No burn on the nose or throat. Slightly expansive smoke.
Tingly sensation to toes and fingers. Immediate relief of anxiety and muscle tension thanks to relatively-high CBG content.
Short high - almost demands re-dosing after an hour. Slight comedown "Stoney" feeling.
4/5 - perfect for creative bursts and energy.
This strain is seriously great. When I vape just a tiny bit I feel happy, no worries, and usually can do nothing to resist the urge to play music and I have lots of ideas but don't feel too stoned to accomplish it already start/jot down ideas. Now if there were only a strain that's good for following through on ideas, lol
I'm a bartender that lives and works in downtown Dallas, so I love this strand to help deal with daily work/life problems.

Gives me a nice boost , not to lifted
Initial Impression:
I enjoyed this particular strain last night in the form of a pre-rolled joint, rolled with "raw" papers from Medicine Man Medical Market in Glendale, CO.
This strain in particular is sticky and sweet. It lives up to the name, the aroma is an earthy undertone, I can't tell if there is a hint of nuts, almost a mild coco-nutty/tropical ambiance to it. The initial bouquet wasn't overpowering or off putting, it was very pleasant. Out of a 10 point scale I would rate the initial contact a 7.5 out of 10.
Taste:
This strain was very nice, smooth and velvety. My palate was pleased, and my taste buds tingled. Out of a 10 point scale I would rate the taste 8 out of 10.
Potency:
I was surprised at how quickly the onset of this high was, as I stated earlier, the initial onset was mellow and comfortable. Out of a 10 point scale I would rate this potency as 6 out of 10.
All things considered:
I would use this strain again, its median score is a 21.5 out of 30, better than average, but not in the aficionado category.

One of my favorite sativas, if grown correctly, has one of the larger amounts of cbd and would consider this one of the best sativas that can combat both pain & drowsiness.
This might be my favorite weed ever. I asked the bud tender, what's the happiest one you have right now? She was right. First relaxed then smiley then this deep gratitude for being alive, even when life "seems" to suck. Having some nice face and mouth tingles and it feels good when I touch my arm. Not watching tv. Just sitting here. May want food but ok if not. Reflexes and vision are delayed slightly. Love this :)
