Island Sweet Skunk reviews

Strain: Sweet Island Skunk Type: Sativa-Dominant (80% Sativa) Genetics: Skunk #1 x Grapefruit Notes: Long and wispy nugs a medium-dark green color, very sativa looking. Smell is very sweet, almost sugary, and mildly skunky. The smoke is smooth and has a sugary sweetness like the smell. High is very uplifted and energetic. I found myself with a content and happy disposition. Clear headed and manageable, just the right strength. Very good for stress, anxiety, and depression. Helped with creativity as well, good for making music. A strong head high behind the eyes and forehead is noticeable, and the body buzz is mild but very energetic. Music is mildly enhanced, but not as much as other strains. Buzz lasts a long time, about 1.5-2 hours. Somewhat lazy or mildly couch-locking if not moving around. Would be great for hiking or going for a bike ride. Really nice and relaxing. 9/10

Appropriately named. Huge aroma - skunky and buttery but with an unmistakable sour fruit/soapy note. The smell will linger for quite some time, especially if burned instead of vaporized, making this one off-limits for those trying to be discrete. Has one of the most pleasant odors of any strain I've come across and always gets comments. The flavor is sweet and sour, overall very clean. The buds are moderately airy but still look nice when properly manicured. Color is usually a light, limey green with characteristic long, orange hairs. The buzz on this one is tricky. A small amount leads to increased energy and focus but too much can make one seriously paranoid/anxious. Definitely a daytime smoke. Would not recommend for newbies or the anxiety-prone.

Daytime smoke, not my favorite sativa strain, but best I've tried of skunk strains. Smells skunky but fruity, very odd smell, very flaky bud when I picked it up. Caused some pretty bad paranoia for me, a big downside, kinda ruins the high for me. Bottom line is it'll make you feel pretty buzzed, pretty nice, but wont get close to fucking you up.

sativa in the head but balanced nicely. good for gaming and staying focused and on task but having fun hehehe

Really nice daytime smoke but won't keep you up all night, either...just in case you're accidentally still smoking it closer to bedtime! ;) High eases in and is not unmanageably strong and is very pleasant. Great for sunny days and productivity.
