great sativa

This is a really great strain. I'm generally not a huge Sativa fan but this is different. It is a clear, focused, creative high. I was able to do rewrites for a show I'm working on in half the usual time it normally takes. Oh and as a bonus, this is a great weed if you're an emcee because I don't even like to rap and I had all types of rhymes on this shit! The smoke is harsher than I like but oh well it's good damn weed.

For some reason I've just gotten into this strain, it was just so ubiquitous and the one or two batches I got were too sedating. But once I got a proper 1/4oz, of a good, true phenotype to what the strain is supposed to be, I realized why this strain is still at every dispensary in the country after over 2 decades. Jack makes me happy first and foremost, it makes me more socially inclined (talkative) and whatever "uplifted" is, it does that too. It also relaxes me, which is great for certain occasions, but I prefer a lot of Jack hybrids (Super Jack, J-1, ect) that are more sativa dominant, because they possess all the positive qualities of Jack Herer without the relaxing effect that can sometimes wear me out after a long day. Jack is also a great strain to breed, along with Kush and SSHaze it's one of the most commonly hybridized strains. Jack Frost, Critical Jack, Jack The Ripper, there are like 20 Jacks that we know of and probably hundreds of other "private" ones too. It's a wonderful strain to cross and make new strains. A +

Allowed my mind to quiet. I was able to focus on the task at hand. I didn't experience a cloudy mind and body. Crisp and clean vibe.

Opened bag and stuck my face in. Smells of pine, lemon, and wood are formidable. Seemed very fresh and covered in resin. Did a light grind and packed the bubbler. Inhale was a smooth and dense smoke. Exhale had a sweet almost lemon like taste that was great. It hits within a few minutes and the feelings of anxiety, stress and pain melt away to let me go about my day with a clear and calm mind and relaxed body.

Between the Platinum Delight I had and this, I gotta say the Jack is the winner. Perfect day and night smoke for pain and depression.

One of my all time favorites. Almost always get it when I can. It's a classic for a reason.
